As an outfitted hunt the edible portion of that bear has been removed and brought back to a place of residence. As is the law. If the hunter doesn't want the meat, he gives it to the outfitter who gives it to his guides and others who are thankful to have it for their freezers.
On the QCI bears are hunted on roads and in cutblocks, among other places because the bush is too thick to allow visibility for hunting.

The bears are a risk to people, and are themselves unhealthy due to overpopulation. Proper wildlife mgt. is a good thing for both hunters and hunted. Bear are intellegent animals and there should be a certain level of dillegence when hunting them. Its a common courtesy to put the animal down with one clean shot thats all these guys are basically red necks who clearly have no respect for the hunt or the animal.
I am a hunter and I agree that all animals hunted should be treated with the up most respect, unfortunately it is not always possible to make it pretty, most of the time it requires a few shots.
Animals die every day for food, what did a cow do that makes it worthy of becoming beef? The natural cycle of life involves killing. The bear killed many fawns and maybe cubs. I hunt, and I too will die one day. As will we all.
