@ATSF7 Great news...The Carolwood Pacific Historical Society has just acquired the DLRR Retlaw #101 (yellow combine). We have plans to begin restoration of it and we will display it next to Walt Disney's Barn in Griffith Park (Los Angeles, CA) within the Los Angeles Live Steamers facility. LALS is open Saturday's and Sunday's, but the barn is only open to the public on the third Sunday of each month. Check-out CPHS's website for more details on who we are and what we're doing.
Disney himself had a train and tracks in his own backyard years before they appeared at Disneyland. If you think about all the best rides there, mostly they were on rails of some kind.
Why doesn't Disneyland buy the cars back?
