X8 only scores in Looks but optimus is overall a great performer than even my samsung Galaxy ace ... enable JIT and install CM 6.6.1 and watch optimus one performing :)

@tuquanvinh optimus one, becasue its a small phone with slower processor compare to other 1ghz phone, but has the same amount the battery compare to 1ghz devices (1500MAh for the optimus one)

@elgharrasmarouane : feel X8's looks is outstanding. its a Sony Ericsson after all.. very funky and good looking! ... but in terms of feature Optimus One is bettr with Android 2.2 and feastures like PINCH TO ZOOM which i really loved.. wish SE had at least incorporated Multitap or Pinch to Zoom in X8 / X10 mini/ Mini Pro/ X10 ..

@susumuize it depends which kind of phone you are looking for. Xperia x8 could be better if you prefer a cool looking phone, but it has Android 2.1 Eclair and is heavy customized by SonyEricsson. Lg optmius has Android 2.2 Froyo, that if you activate the Jit feature should perform much better in the quadrant benchmark. So it's up to you!
