i rember this as a kid we use to go to the secret sidewalk in niles and look for her. but then someone told us the real white witch is actually under a bridge on foothill road. were she died on her wedding day. and reports started to come in that ppl would see her on the side of the road.
my friend was arguing with me over the white witch so i got him to walk niles. as we went there at like 2 there were hella cops. we stopped at the 7 eleven...this was in 2008 and asked the cops what happened. supposedly a security guard shot out his passenger seat because he claimed something was there. my friend trying to be brave told the cop he was gonna walk niles. even the cop suggested he not do it..and if so definately not that day.
even if this is fake, its worth going there. me and my friends used to go there all the time, and something that would seem as if it were paranormal would happen almost every time.
Havr any of u guys noticed that they actually hit the ghost. i thought u couldnt touch ghost. u actually see the "ghost" stumble back as the car hits it.

We were surprised, back in the 1980s, when a TV show called Unexplained Mysteries had a segment about her, and found out that people were still giving her rides after all that time.
My friends told me that they went camping at Niles Canyon for one day, and they said they're never camping their again cause they saw the White Witch so know I know that she's real with this video.

I have been there at midnight, 1, 2, 3am and all other times, and nothing of interest happens. I have seen it go from a weekend hang-out for illegals to a place to ride a christmas train. I was stuck in traffic jams during the early 00's because of rock slides and tree fallings. I could probably drive it blind folded.
I have never heard any stories of a ghost or other shit happening there. However, there is a sign, that most people never see on the road. It is small and located at the sharp 90 turn over the train tunnel. The sign indicates "Johnny's Hole" Now THAT is something to think about.
A few months later we were at the Devil's Workshop in Niles checking out a new bong, and asked the chick that worked there if she heard about the White Witch. Her story goes, every February 26th, someone will see a beautiful girl in a white wedding dress hitchin through the canyon. She wants a ride to San Francisco, and if you give her a ride, as you reach the Dumbarton bridge, you will look over and she will be gone!

That's when I first heard about the White Witch. Story goes June Lowery was in a carriage on the way to Sunol to get married, and a car came around the corner, spooked the horses, and she was kicked out and ran over. The old story was she would appear in the road, and you hit her, then get out of the car, and look, and nobody is there.
omg, ive actually seen the white witch. i thought the whole thing was a bet, so 1 of my friends and i went down there one night. nd holy shit, at aroung 1 in the morning we got hella scared cuz we didnt know what it was. we though it was 1 of our friends playing a joke on us, but shit, it was no joke. it just all of a sudden dissappeared. we took a couple videos, but 1 day she was in them, the next she wasnt... thats a fukkin creapy ass ghost. i saw her at niles creek.
