Cutting is an addiction.. it's not easy to stop, it's a way of expressing how you feel on your own body, a way of realessing all your shame.. and expressing how you really feel. Most people who cut do not do it for atenntion , Demi lovato expresses herself alot through music if she decides to write about this or whats going on or how she really feeels she has a right too. you dont have to like it or listen to it. but I argee She has gotten me through alot. and i know what cuttting feels like so

It's performed when someone feels numb from constant emotional pain and they want to feel something real. To know their alive. And okay, even if it doesn't feel like it. Eventually it becomes more than just a way to express their sadness or anger or, in certain cases, lack of feeling anything at all.
