Then you can fill your sinuses up & let it soak for a minute. it actually feels very good and this is a folk remedy that a lot of people use. In fact, it makes me want to do it! good ppl of trailer parks hehehe-the neti pot is one big crock. using the spout of a teapot would do the same thing.. its really designed to get ppl in by purchasing a gimmick. still it works for some just not for others.found my own method apllicator flushing out an infection that ceases to come and go and likes living within my sinuses prey ing on my weak defense when my immune systems not the healthiest.yr vid was funny .comedy helps somewot. u 2 keep rockin \m/

disregard me, i'm deaf and was mishearing things. yes, you need non-iodIZED salt i.e. sea salt... yes its rocky

but if you use the proper ratio of salt to water its not supposed to hurt. try to angle ur head so water doesnt go down to your throat, you might gag and mess up the process.

to clarify, i think it is non-IONIZED salt, not non-iodized. and you dont have to get rocky salt.

also, they have a recommended amt. of water + salt to use to not make it hurt..
