Hi, I actually own Playa Yankee now. I had no idea about the pier, but I want to assure everyone that, although Playa Yankee is no longer a public beach, I will not attempt to develop it. I believe in preserving the natural landscape and will only alter those things that are a hazard to the safety of the guests we have. If you wish to surf on the beach contact Cantamar Playa Yankee

ok, but where is it? Like, on a map? Is it the beach in front of a town called La Flor?

A couple bays before La Flor - Escameca River area. Be sure to pay the old care taker to park.

What a great wave. I surfed it back in March 2007. The beach is absolutely desolate and the waves are uncrowded. Good job fighting the pier.
