@nialllprule i'm a lefty also, and i've never had a problem firing any weapon. the only weapons that are "not made for left hand use" would be a bullpup configuration. those would have to be specific for a left handed shooter. shouldn't say stuff like you did unless you know.
@dtinnan there are all kinds of bullpup configurations out there. and most of them can be adapted for lefties. and fewer of those few, with more or less hassle.
apologies if i didn't make it clear in my other post that i knew that. i was kind of conveying an out of the box pick up and fire kind of hassle free ease for lefties. and bullpups are not that for us.

@nialllprule Far from the truth. Almost every single "popular" bolt action rifle has a left handed verison. Pistols and semi auto rifles eject the shell either straight out to the right, or up and over the rifle shoulder by a pretty good height and distance.

@nialllprule There are "left-handed" guns. Just don't usually see them in stores. Have to usually special order them from manufacturers and online stores. @meroxyersox , not necessarily, when you're shooting Modern Isoceles. Some teach it with strong-side foot half a foot length forward, some don't. This was her first time shooting, so I wanted to keep it simple, with torso and feet square to the target, weight on balls of the feet.

I would like to point you to the CDC who keeps stats on many things including gun deaths. I did a little research and over time for some odd reason gun deaths go down yet gun ownership in the US increases at an exponential rate. I am not going to go in depth here but a full auto weapon is simpler and easier to design than a semi auto counterpart. Do you think some guy who goes crazy cares about the 10 years in jail and 10 grand for converting a semi auto to full?

@aztaclalz One thing, & we have seen it time & time again over history, is fear dictates, as much as its wrong it does. The fear of 40 people in a restaurant having guns & you want to rob the place & kill people, that usually dictates their actions, or if they even follow through. It can also dictate how many people are killed as well if he does start shooting. I would think if you got held at gun point & he was pulling the trigger & samaritan me shot him first, you would be happy? :)

Sweden ,according to European Union study, has one of the highest rates of reported rape in Europe. Not sure exactly what % of that is forced stranger attacks, or what they are calling rape, but I would bet if women carried there, "that" rate would drop significantly...something to think about :)

@nialllprule i'm a lefty also, and i've never had a problem firing any weapon. the only weapons that are "not made for left hand use" would be a bullpup configuration. those would have to be specific for a left handed shooter. shouldn't say stuff like you did unless you know.

@dtinnan there are all kinds of bullpup configurations out there. and most of them can be adapted for lefties. and fewer of those few, with more or less hassle.
apologies if i didn't make it clear in my other post that i knew that. i was kind of conveying an out of the box pick up and fire kind of hassle free ease for lefties. and bullpups are not that for us.
but i'm sorry, i wouldn't ever buy the storm no matter how hassle free of a bullpup it is for a lefty. i suppose others might though.

@nialllprule Far from the truth. Almost every single "popular" bolt action rifle has a left handed verison. Pistols and semi auto rifles eject the shell either straight out to the right, or up and over the rifle shoulder by a pretty good height and distance.

@meroxyersox , not necessarily, when you're shooting Modern Isoceles. Some teach it with strong-side foot half a foot length forward, some don't. This was her first time shooting, so I wanted to keep it simple, with torso and feet square to the target, weight on balls of the feet.

Last month, a shop was robbed by crashing a truck through the front wall of the building, and 56 guns were stolen. My friend's shop had big concrete columns in front of it the next day.

I would like to point you to the CDC who keeps stats on many things including gun deaths. I did a little research and over time for some odd reason gun deaths go down yet gun ownership in the US increases at an exponential rate. I am not going to go in depth here but a full auto weapon is simpler and easier to design than a semi auto counterpart. Do you think some guy who goes crazy cares about the 10 years in jail and 10 grand for converting a semi auto to full?

I can think of one thing to improve on this video: make it about an hour longer.
Awesome in many ways. Taught a new shooter, used protective equipment, she had a decent stance unlike so many first-timer videos on here where nothing is explained and they're scared of the tool in their hands...
