I still come back to watching this routine again and again, after all these years. I love the energy, the flow, the music and the people in the class. It makes me happy to watch it! I do miss your video uploads....
AND I do appreciate you sharing some of your stuff. Just browsing thru' looking for some new material to spice it up. Thanks and love to see more current stuff. (;
Not that it's any of my business, but I notice that your benches tend to slip a bit on the floor. We had that happen too - I have class in a school cafeteria and those floors are also slick. I bought some of that thin grid plastic material [it comes in all colors] that you'd use in your cupboards, or to line a toolbox. I've even seen it as placemats. I cut strips of it wide enough to fit under each side of the bench. It has really helped keep them stationary AND increased confidence in moves.
hi thanks for the heads up, but i no longer use the hard boards for stepping and you will see my little springy mate that I take everywhere with me and have no problems with slipping.
What a great routine! Hope you don't mind - I am using it in my class now and they are loving it!! More please!! Only wish I had your pretty accent to cue the moves.
I am definitely going to copy some of these moves! Great class! Some other comments don't like this type of step and that's fine just don't put it down. I love it, I teach it, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Keep doing what you're doing!
I've tried doing this kind of step class, but I really prefer the structure of an LMI; found I really worked hard in those classes. Great job watching this class though
just discovered this site and very impressed i am too, just got back from Brean Sands having had a fab weekend of fitness, this routine is as good as any i did there, lovely flowing moves, no breakdown unfortunately so will have to work that all out for myself, great routine, is it your own?
Hi I'm glad you like. 1st 16 counts is from a great presenter called Delvin Clarke wicked at breakdowns and last 16 counts is megaman80 but the rest is all mine.
Hey, that is really cool! I am a fitness trainer doing a lot of different classes, until now i left aerobic and step aside, cause cant imagine myself dancing to normal aerobic music. but this is a good way to do something different. love it!
Hi ya about time you found the clips your on most of them lol. Wait until you see yourself on the new shared step, you look even better. See you Saturday.
I have had many messages about the music used in this clip and the song is off the Pure Garage Classics 2003 album called 'Gonna get through this' (Human beatbox mix) by Daniel Beddingfield.

No this is not a fitness CD compilation but a normal garage CD you can buy in shops. You would be able to get it off ebay UK site (will get a bargain) or Amazon UK (could be expensive). Any probs get back to me and I'll find you a site to buy it off.
Hello there, great. Always looking for inspiration and this hit the spot. So what if you stole/loaned/borrowed - it's all about your own twist on it - let's face it who hasn't. GREAT!!!
I am slowly getting around to it as this was the first one I video'd. When I use the routines again, I will definitely vid the breakdown, or I might have to do it separately so that I have a record as well. Memory isn't so good lol.
Hi megaman80 - u wld be referring to the (16 counts) hamstring, mambo move that I borrowed/stole/loaned (I'm sure someone else has done the same) but it was a good move to not include it in my class. So thanks :-)

That is amazing. I need to make a routine for my fitness assignment. But I can definately not do that cause the class wouldn't be able to keep up. :/

Lots of great choreography, but as a step instructor I always wonder why so little time is given to the upper body workout.

couldn't people just do the upper body on the gym machines?

The class is intermediate and held in Birmingham which is where I am from and where I teach. So not a London class.
