If that cat do not like you, that just means you haven't bond with it. Feed it, play with it. Positive reinforcement like be the only one to feed it for a week, then it will associate you with food, and play with it. then it knews you're not a threat to them. Good luck!

The cat could very well be poorly bred. Some of those Siamese breeders are pretty reckless and turn out some seriously nasty cats. I had the worst attack of my life from a "purebred" applehead Siamese. From what I've seen, the extreme Siamese tend to be more levelheaded, and the appleheads, more like this one. That may be why more people prefer the extreme nowadays.

It really depends on how well people take care of cats too and if they've been abused, neglected, ect. But, most times, these type of breeds don't like to be touched.

They mostly like living with one person who is an adult, female owners are preferred. . Once they have picked their chosen owner....that's dude. You're nothing but a scratching post. One thing I would suggest is to come up to it from the bottom of the stairs rather than towering over it. Not saying that would really work though. lol
oh my goodness that's 1 angry cat but in my experience a lot the time you need to get a toy with a clicker on it with a long handle when they act good click it and give a treat keep doing it till the cat warms up to more friendly and then the trust is back and then you can hold and pet but looks like training is whats needed to gain the cats trust other wise great and beautiful cat big thumbs up there is no problem here very healthy cat taken well care of
as a once siamese cat human I too can agree that this is not cruelty, Unless the siamese is RAISED with other people in the house or people coming and going then they get very possessive of their chosen human and hate other humans. My cat Missi Sue loved me, adored me, tolerated the other residents because she grew up with them but let a stranger come near her without me beside her, soothing her and she would get just like this cat and strike if they pushed their luck with her.

The cat's being a spoilt little bastard and testing his dominance on you; in this case blocking the stairs and yowling at you if you dare try to pass. It's never gonna like you dude as Siamese are loyal only to their owners, and plus, it's also learnt some bad social habits judging by it's attitude. My advice, give it a quick squirt of water and let it know whose boss.

oh my goodness that's 1 angry cat but in my experience a lot the time you need to get a toy with a clicker on it with a long handle when they act good click it and give a treat keep doing it till the cat warms up to more friendly and then the trust is back and then you can hold and pet but looks like training is whats needed to gain the cats trust other wise great and beautiful cat big thumbs up there is no problem here very healthy cat taken well care of

as a once siamese cat human I too can agree that this is not cruelty, Unless the siamese is RAISED with other people in the house or people coming and going then they get very possessive of their chosen human and hate other humans. My cat Missi Sue loved me, adored me, tolerated the other residents because she grew up with them but let a stranger come near her without me beside her, soothing her and she would get just like this cat and strike if they pushed their luck with her.

It's siamese cat, they all do that, I had siamese cat for a long time, and she allways been doing like this when I don't let her to do something ;) Even when u pet her, she bites and scraches little bit, but later licks off all your wounds ;) They are lovely cats , but with their own characters ;)

The cat's being a spoilt little bastard and testing his dominance on you; in this case blocking the stairs and yowling at you if you dare try to pass. It's never gonna like you dude as Siamese are loyal only to their owners, and plus, it's also learnt some bad social habits judging by it's attitude. My advice, give it a quick squirt of water and let it know whose boss.

this guy is dumb because he approached the cat the wrong way... If he came from the bottom of the stairs and didn't tower over the cat I can see the cat being more inviting... Him towering over the cat can be taken as a threat by the cat.... or he just doesn't like the guy at all.
