  • Unfortunately this is for people that wish to learn endless dos commands with success depending on that knowledge. Windows can and does fail all the time. A simple solution is to have a clone your hard drive to a slave drive with Acronis. Do it once a week at least. Then when windows does fail, you don't have 3 days work to fix or do a reinstall.

  • So do you need the cd

  • wow lol i shit me self at 0:56 seconds lol

  • yea wow

  • what did you write in the "run" ? pls answer

  • X:\I386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons

    replace X with xp cd

  • what tyip did you on run please write me down

  • lmao, I'm trying to extend the partition of my system volume (C:) so that it uses all the space on my physical drive. Since diskpart won't do it when Windows is loaded, I tried to use diskpart in the Recovery Console. Unfortunately the RC diskpart program is completely different from the one on Windows and it has essentially no useful options. I can't even find a proper tutorial on how to create an NTFS boot disc that doesn't require a floppy. Microsoft, you are an epic failure. Go die.

  • i have a Sony VAIO that when i turn it on it says no operating system found. can some 1 plz help me fix it? =/

  • Sorry, the original MP4s were crystal clear, but by the time I upload them to YouTube and it compresses them, they aren't so legible. Do you know of a compressed format that renders text well? I am experimenting with different combinations. Anyways, the command is:

    e:\i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons

to install recovery console to your hard drive, where "e" is the letter of the drive that holds the Windows CD. Alternatively it may be run from the disk.

  • @cgermany77 what to do it says i have no rights to enter i386

  • @kenblaster lol yes, i have come a long way since then.
