Cameron's terminator class is TOK715, she isnt a triple 8. Images of her endo are different from all the triple 8 series we've seen. Also her chip is different from that of the triple 8. While the T-888 is said(by Cameron) to be one of Skynet's most effective infiltrators(as Vick was married) her CPU is apparently much more sophisticated to infiltration needs.
Also, John states she wasn't designed to fight other machines. A T-888 has shown no problems fighting other machines(short of Catherine)
