there was a westinghouse elevator at the carnige museum that used to be westinghouse and had the orignal fixtures just like this. unfortanly otis modernized it and now its an otis series 2 DANG IT
I have a stagnet thyssenkrupp bell. You must kick patricknedz in the shin and bury him in the river. he must then lick a tree on a cold day and suck in air.
I also think with say the originals reaching now 50 years old and dependent on use could be reaching the end of their lives meaning I'm afraid a refurbishment may be needed.
@jdtayloruk I hope not, I haven't gotten to film this one yet. I was looking forward to it too. Maybe its something simple that can be fixed easily. I talked to someone that used to work on this elevator he said these older ones are very easy to work on
@thyssenelevator95 well two days in a row! the same thing happens to both of them and they both have the same type of controller. Thats just weird, and it shows how great the Westinghouse quality really is. But I really liked Westinghouse. They were better than thyssenkrupp. and schindler.
@patricknedz I wouldn't be surprised if I find Macy's in Westfield Southcenter's '68 Westinghouse broken, that thing has stalled on people ALOT from what I've heard.

Sadly I don't think that Westinghouse elevators like it when you film them. They break down so that you can't film. It's a conspiracy. :)

I'm sorry...these Westinghouse elevators must be camera shy...LOL
It could be worse though...You could have been stuck in one of them.
