the game is called history channels civil war or something similar its a ok game no multiplayer replay value i say is 1/10 because all i ever did was beat it on recruit then did it on highest difficulty got some kills with other types of guns got achievements and sold it then theres also another one which i have to say is much better replay again is 1 its very similar but much much different

thats like REALLY quick version of it. the guy first needs to find a bullet from his bullet bag, tear the paper with his teeth, spit it out, while finding some cover so he doesnt get his ass shot, and THEN putting it in the barrel, shoving it down with the metal stick, then cocking it, then FIRE. that would take 30 sec for a veteran who wont be stressed under the stresses of combat

Not to mention packing the remaining paper cartridge in before the bullet as wadding, then ramming it home, and on most civil war muskets, after cocking it you needed to place a percussion before you could fire :D 3 rounds a minute was the standard for a well trained veteran, but as you say, in combat, he's probs going to be flinching and ducking with all that metal flying about blowing his friends up etc

Lol, in fact, they're missing an important piece of loading. you have to put a cap on the nipple of the gun after cocking it before you fire, else the hammer will fall and nothing will happen. :P

All of the weapons take at least three seconds to reload, it's 1861. It's a fun game, like a 1860's version of halo. Sometimes you can hide, stay back, pick of straglers, then move forward after all the confederate soilders die. Your CPu soilders are idiots and just run forward and get shot. I do have to complain that when the confederates have the huge machine gun-looking thins in the holder of a canon, you get shot to hell in three seconds, even if you're crawling.

After the reload, the rifled musket shouldn't fire. Since he totally forgot to put a percussion cap on the nipple right under the hammer.

This is the PC version. If you want to record your games from the PS2 try this:

you record with your cassete player and than you ghave a hell of a work to make it to your hard drive without the apropriate hardware.

or.. you record it with your media center(nowadays there is a tone of tutorials in the internet teaching you how to make a media center from an old PC)

reddrum it is called a springfield musket rifle it was rifled and it used the minie ball the only reason it was called a musket is because it was a muzzleloader like the old muskets that were being fazed out.

There are a million things (historicaly) wrong with this game. I grinds my gears to know that the history channel would create it and say it's HISTORICALY ACCURATE!

How far would you say you were when you made that shot. A musket is NOT a rifle, it has a smooth bore barrel and is not very acurate. At that distance you would be wasting your shot.
