Maybe the problem is quantity of those diesel engines or what they can produce. Fiat is now producing diesel engines for the GM (European market). They should build an addition diesel engine factory to North America or somewhere else. I am pretty sure about that Americans will get their diesel engines for the Saab quite soon in the future.

If they had a diesel I would buy one now! I have a VW Gold diesel and love it--54 MPG, only drive it to work and fill up every three weeks :)
