  • This my next buy,it will fit between my LCR and GP100.

  • can u put the 38special in these?

  • @poonjoonoob its in ur vid. i am so sorry. thank you.

  • check out Double tap's new ammo for 357 mag. the Equalizer.two shots in one! make your 5 shot a 10 shot.

  • nice review

  • Thanks for the review. I want one of these. I want to carry it but live in a non-carry state : (

  • what are those going for pricewise, ball park type figure?

  • @roaringwaterbay Maybe around $350 used, $500 new?

  • @zaraa03, sweet, I recently (in the past 2 years) had to sell off my great collection I had going. I think, for a 25 year old anyway-

I had a Glock 19, Kimber TLE 2 1911 .45, Springfield XDm .40 (new for only 400!), Ruger Police Shooter-Six 1976 edition, a Taurus PT-92 (bare bones) and a Beretta 92FS with plenty of bells and whistles. Ironically the Glock 19, Springfield XDm, Ruger, and Taurus shot the best! Compared to the Kimber and Beretta which were very expensive by comparrison

  • @zaraa03, I have a theory that the Taurus PT-92 is better than the Beretta 92 or M9 model (which there are small differences, the M9 has a curve between the trigger guard and the end of the bottom-frame) because they put the safety on the frame instead of on the...brain-fart!....slide! lmao....funny...anyway, personal hypothosis, not a theory since I have no scientific evidence. But it's a better design anyway, sorry for getting so off topic, I'm an aspie and am struggling with that.

  • @zaraa03, the biggest part of the story is now I'm going back to buying the only gun I can afford right now, a russian mosin nagant for 80 bucks, 1) I can defend myself quite well with it 2) I can afford that, 3) if I spend over 300 on anything I feel the need to use it, a lot, because it's a lot of money to me, and ammo is as expensive as street drugs these days hehe. However, I plan on snubbing-it-up by fall at the latest. Used, under 400, think this would well for CC and home D?

  • This gun falls into a funny place for use because as stated, it's heavy. I carry it from time to time. The problem lies in the fact that you're losing to much velocity out of that barrel for .357mag to be effective so you're better off with a solid .38special +P load.- OK, then why carry this gun? Well, because you bought it before you knew any better.-5 shots is not optimal for HD either with a gun that won't give you .357 ballsitics you need for .357 to be stunningly effective.Poorcarrychoice

  • @elblancobasura Regardless of barrel length, .357 is going to shoot faster with same bullet vs. .38 or .38+p. 5 shots is optimal vs.no shots!

  • @ntrudr800 No question my friend with respect to shooting "faster" in .357- See, I've owned one for 13 years already and that doesn't make me a professor on the matter either. But while a .357 mag will indeed shoot "faster" than a .38+P out of it in the same weight, you're not getting the optimal wounding and stopping power associated with a 4" .357 mag but you are getting a huge amount of recoil and flash for very LITTLE in stopping power gain. Again, poor carry choice.

  • @elblancobasura Who said I was hunting humans!

  • @ntrudr800 I certainly didn't! lol.

  • @elblancobasura You assumed... perhaps I was shooting Deer, eh? Then .357 Magnum comes in handy :P I feel like Venison tonight.

  • @elblancobasura, really? I always figured I'd go with a .357 snub just to have that option and get used to the recoil for later on (if you see my above posts I'm no "virgin" when it comes to owning firearms in spite of my age and lack of military experience, although i've had combative experiences that were life or death but I digress, sorry). I thought I was real hot shit (because I was owning it with my Glock 19 on the range and once in real life). Then I fired a .45, .357

  • @elblancobasura, and I'll go ahead and say it-I spent 600 bucks on a gun (Kimber TLE 2), which granted was a great deal-without knowing shit about 1911s, or .45s or what I was getting myself into. I learned how to disassemble it, reassemble it, clean it, oil it, all that shit. Which was great because I could now do the same with my Beretta, Glock, and Springfield in under 2 seconds lol. Once I got out on the range though with it, different story. I handled the XDm .40,

  • -Which I'd like to get your opinion on, personally I feel a +p++ or any one of the various hollow point, gold dotted, blue dotted, corbon rounds, etc. in 9mm would do just the same trick-it's all about shot placement in my ONE incident of reality slamming shit and ammo in my face, though that is exactly what you train for, right? Interestingly enough at the same apartment complex within weeks my buddy who was looking at my Kimber who owned a gold-inlaid Colt borrowed some

  • Gold-dot ammo from me and that night he was attacked by two men in almost the exact same way I was (home invasion, them coming in with shotguns, the only difference is that I happened to have my Glock right next to the keyboard and the point of entrance just allowed me to get them instantly) my buddy did something so ballsy I don't think I could've done it...they asked him where his money was, etc. He went to his sock-drawer, pulled that fucker out and let 'er rip

  • So where is my aspie-ass going with this long-winded and (to you) quite possible made-up bullshit? Well, he had a .45, different situation, but he was trained, not as well as I am, but he knows how to shoot and certainly has the balls to back his shit up. However in his case, the men with those big beefy gold-dot (I believe 230 grain? it's been awhile..) tore through those fuckers, causing all sorts of damage I'm sure. But they both made it 2-3 blocks before one couldn't go on

  • You'd think those big-beefy .45s would've just knocked them right on their asses. He hit them in the places where it'd be possible, hip, side, I believe he got one near the groin even...

My incident, with my 9mm and these hollow-pointed rounds with the red rubber balls in 'em. Sorry I am forgetting the name and looking foolish but it's been a long night...anyway, you worry about over-penetration to a degree more I suppose. But on top of better shot placement. I got the job done

  • I'd rather not talk about the outcome but let's say I got it done much more efficiently than my friend did.

So here I am, no guns, and a completely understandable fear of someone busting up in here trying to kill me. I am a martial artist who is partially disabled and I have mastery in Kali knife fighting but, the old addage "don't bring a knife-" applies in most cases, sure I could get lucky, but I'm not an action hero, I'm an average Joe-liberal. So I'm thinking a .38 snub

  • Ruger SP101 just came out this week in 4 inch barrel version.

LCR recently came out in .22 caliber version.

  • NICE GUN AND REVIEW BUT WHAT KIND OF WATCH IS THAT YOUR WEARING LOOKS NICE

  • @PR4470 It's an Invicta watch...

  • Nice review. I"m planning on getting it.

  • like the gun....

  • le top-)!!

  • how much of a pain in the ass is it to get a pistol permit in california? what if I buy a gun In arizona and then move there... can I keep it or will the cops confiscate it?

  • @DarkheartTheHeritic Getting a CCW is very hard. You don't need a permit to own one though. You can bring your handgun in as long as it's on the CA DOJ list.

  • @zaraa03 really? I thought you needed a permit just to own one in california. hmm well that makes thing easier thanks alot :)

  • @DarkheartTheHeritic If you want information on anything concerning California firearms, go to calguns dot net. Google it. Information is first rate.

  • @bonsa100 Thanks a bunch that will help a lot :)

  • Not to nit pick but they have a version without the hammer spur. It is not internal. Great Vid though!

  • @trench05 Yep you're right. Thanks!

  • Best gun u couldve bought! I put some hogue grips on mine and my o' my it looks waaay better than the stock grips! Try putting some hogue's on yours you'll love the look!
