and that black representative Barbara Jordan is "the archetypical half-educated victimologist" whose "race and sex protect her from criticism." At the time, Paul's campaign said that Morris had quoted the newsletter out of context. Later, in 2001, Paul would claim that someone else had written the

  • The Freedom Report's online archives only go back to 1999, but I was curious to see older editions of Paul's newsletters, in part because of a controversy dating to 1996, when Charles "Lefty" Morris, a Democrat running against Paul for a House seat, released excerpts stating that "opinion polls consistently show only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions," that "if you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be,"

    Don't be a lemming OptionsMonster

  • Oh my god! As a young black male, that makes my decision to vote for Dr. Paul all the more serious!!!!! VOTE RON PAUL! ELIMENATE POVERTY OF INNER CITY BLACK YOUTH BY VOTING FOR THE MAN WHO WILL REDUCE TAXES AND OPPRESSION AND THE CIA, .....which pumps in the drugs and destroys the community.

  • frnnk, Hell I can't tell if you are trying to be funny or you're just plain ignorant.

  • everything I said was factual. the cia sells drugs into inner city majority black neighborhoods, hence the fact that drug crimes are high in a country that can go across the world to defeat the greatest power the world had seen in only 4 years. i think 30 years of fighting drugs proves it's a sham. abolish the cia

  • It was not written by him you ass clown

  • Ron Paul can deny all he wants to.

What would you do if you were in his shoes admit it ? LOL, You're a Lemming.

Don't be fooled by this racist !

  • this message brought to you by Ron Paul Troll OptionsMonster

You should email him, let him know his posting of bile on other candidates' youtube sites just comes back to haunt Ron Paul

  • what an idiot

  • If you're going to print money, instead of bailing out hedge funds, a better place would be universal health care. That's paid for, not run, by govt.

  • Anything that is funded by government is ultimately run by the government. Just like the bureaucrats taking money from the lobbyists ultimately work for them. Universal health care sounds nice but the people deciding how to spend the nations money have their campaigns paid for by HMO's and pharmaceutical company's.

  • radijuan...

I think your terms are mutually exclusive... There can be no such thing as Free and Good health care. Someone pays. If you think Europeans have free health care... think again. Look at the taxes they pay directly and then the taxes they pay in the increased price of everything they buy due to value added taxes. When an American can buy a pair of blue jeans for $30 and that same pair of jeans cost a European $60... that extra $30 is your free health care...

  • it may sound cold, but health care is not a right. It is NOT the job of the government to provide for the citizens.

With liberty comes responsibility...we must look after one another, that's American, that's how we became the greatest country in the world.

  • @JDizzely COULD JOSH REEVES AND LEE PLAGIARIZED THE ALEX JESUIT JONES - JBS- BUCHANNAN CONNECTIONS? search youtube for "Alex Jones Connection to Project Mockingbird through Pat Buchanan and Thomas Braden" 2007 or " Eric Jon Phelps exposes Jesuit-CIA Alex Jones 8/15/07 C&D1/3"

  • @JDizzely I agree. Of course, if you take away state medicare, there's a good chance that greedy insurance companies will name their price and every idiot will just pay it. The best alternative may be a non-profit organization. Otherwise, invest your wealth into The Church of Christ, Muslim, Atheism or whatever you believe in, to assist you with medical problems and your children's education.

  • and you would force doctors and nurses to work on everyone the government says, at a set salary? that's slavery, involuntary servitude. what is your job? do you think every American has an equal right to receive your services for free?

  • Dude! (if you are a dude) How about the price gouging of the drug companies, or the deaths caused by weopens manufacturing? How about the blatent lying and coverups of the administration. Or torture? If we are going to be free, this is the cost.

  • This country's government was created to protect our individual freedoms., our pursuit of happines as we see it, NOT to be our super parent! Not to feed us, shelter us, dress us, doctor us, or burp us. Government can protect our freedoms, or try to parent us, but it can not do both. The only way for government to try to do all the things you probably want is by taking complete control of every aspect of our lives and incomes, and the Soviet Union has already proved that didn't work.

  • The problem with FEMA was a Bush crony at the top, not the agency itself. Having profit-driven healthcare will never put the patient in the center. And some people will just not have the money to pay for health insurance. But i can see why people who have money would not want a universal health care system. And hoping that greed will not get the better of doctors... hm...

  • The majority of people would be better off without a universal socialized health care system. Doctors right now know how much the insurance company will pay, so they charge everyone that maximum. Nurses aren't allowed to diagnose routine illnesses, which is more expensive. Government is already involved in 2/3rds of health care spending, and look at how screwed up it is now. You really want them MORE involved?

  • the problem with FEMA was central planning. if you think the people in DC know best what to put on your plate for dinner, and know best how to use the money in your bank account, and know best what you should wear to work, and know best which method to remove water from lowland areas in Louisiana, then fine... there are plenty of countries that like to dictate. try out Cuba maybe?

  • Good interview. I just think it's a shame that Ron Paul didn't go into any detail when he was asked about the CFR.

Also, Ron Paul completely disassociated himself with the 9/11 truth movement in a recent interview on Fox. I thought that was very sad, because I used to think that Ron Paul was an intelligent and trustworthy person.

  • do you know what politics are? ;-)

wise as serpents, harmless as doves. even if you know something to be true, you should be wise enough to know when and where to say it, not everyone is prepared to hear the truth on every issue. whether Ron Paul believes or not, theorizes or not. I respect him for speaking a word in season, and not out of season.

  • Oil is not a free market, it is an oligopoly and has cartels. Also understand the devaluation of the USD. We need a President who has an answer for inflation. The Fed Res. prints our money until it's worthless & the govt spends it faster than it can be printed. Imagine hundreds of St. Jude's or similar hospital/clinics across the US when you have an economic system that can sustain itself. Those who can't afford, have a place to go and the market would sustain them.

  • Ron Paul supports changes to the medical licensing system that would allow us to see a Nurse, at a lower cost, for our strep throat and so on. BOTTOM LINE: END THE WARS--RON PAUL!

  • Ron Paul may have just lost my vote. What about people who are chronically ill, can't work, thus can't afford the expensive medical testing necessary to obtain an official diagnosis that the gov't requires for you to get any sort of help whatsoever? this is a common problem with cvs patients like my fiancee. she will never be able to hold a job, but doesn't have a baby or a diagnosis so she's basically just screwed. what about us?

  • Jmartin, please don't lose focus on the big picture, in which RP is trying to cover. Don't let one small thing like that discourage you from letting him into office, in which none of the things he's fighting for are really important to any other candidates.

About your particular case: Ron is going for a medical program that's going to be far better than the one now. I think you may have misunderstood his approach to it. Just listen to it again.. And don't tune out yet

  • i haven't yet tuned out, but he seems to be basing his healthcare policy on the idea of free market. that is great, assuming that it would in fact drive down costs. it would help lots of people. it still doesn't help the people with NO money (which is a lot of sick people who can't work). and besides, who's to say prices will go down with a free market? theres a free market for oil, and yet prices continue to skyrocket. i need to read more into it...

  • continued skyrocketing prices of oil: that's because oil is a limited, non-renewable resource; as well as literally being held back like a victim of ransom, and they literally have the power to raise the prices higher.

So 'free market' may not be such a bad word to mix with healthcare, as it's abused in the context with oil issues.

  • Ron Paul used to work in a charity hospital (church supported); this sort of thing will still exist! We can't trust the government to take care of us! They are dangerously incompetent, just look at the veteran's hospital scandal in D.C.

  • Heartlessness fails. Having met Ron Paul, FWIW I can say that Dr. Paul is not heartless. But then one should not put one's trust for the future in any man, even Ron Paul. Now look, you live in a state, right ? In the absence of a domineering Federal government, could you not at the state and local level create or restructure to a system that works ? How about state operated clinics, state and private hospitals ? How about private generosity ?

  • Keep in mind that a Ron Paul presidency will not be a dictatorship! Congress is responsible for making legislation, not the president. Anyway, Ron Paul does not want to abandon people currently dependent on the government for care.

  • People are profiting from easy credit instead of using it for proper innovation. This forces government to put insurance in the hand of speculators so innovation can respond to the need to lower irresponsible consumption.

In a time of energy equipment shortage, i think the plunge protection team are doing a good job.

But power corrupt so watch out anyway.

  • Awesome video! Americans do want a principled pro-liberty candidate. We need liberty more than ever.... NOW!!! Keep doing the great videos.

If you want to keep spreading the good message of Dr. Paul, hand out some Liberty Cards, which are available at LibertyCard . org.

    Thanks!!!! GO RON PAUL!

    Corey

  • Please increase the audio level. Thx for posting!

    Go Ron Paul!

  • I fully support Ron Paul for President!

  • is it just me or is this video really quiet?

  • An honest question to all americans: How known is Ron Paul in general? Yes sure he's all around Youtube etc but how about on street level? He seems to be with Kucinich the only reasonable candidate for your next President. Good luck Ron Paul and USA with him!

  • hardly anyone knows about him. :(

  • More people know than you think.

  • then go to your local stop light and hold up signs mentioning Ron Paul...

That will be one of your best ways to get the word out there.

Ron Paul supporters are going to have to work HARD to get his name out - if they want change bad enough.

  • Ron Paul 2008

  • Ron Paul is the only hope to save America.

  • Ron Paul 2008

  • Ron Paul is greatest man of our time.

  • Listening to Ron Paul is better than sex.

  • Now *that* is an innovative strategy for ending abortion.

  • The best thing was, these two TV shows were taped at a studio full of supporters. It was so much fun! June 22nd 2007

  • Good video, good information

  • Again, congratulations Mr. Rogers. Well done on securing this opportunity and for carrying it out so professionaly. Good job.

  • The Embassy in Baghdad cost us 650 million dollars. It takes up 104 acres of land. President Bush has said he expects us to keep troops in Iraq, "like the Korean model."
