It is an Option V2 159cm. These rides in DC did not hurt it at all, because the snow was hard packed, or there was plenty. However, I have done the car snowboarding before where there was less snow, and very soft, and the board touched the concrete a lot. The edges were in bad shape after that.

@nubzi69hop: It is indeed different from downhill. you do need to lean back and press on the rear foot, very similar to wakeboarding, just in case you have tried that. You cannot lean too much away from the board when you go into curves or when you try to brake. Also, the speed is dominated by the car, and not by you snowboarding..

If you have a longer, real wakeboard cord, try that, it is better. If possible attach the cord to the roofrack, but you need a VERY solid roofrack, there are strong forced that will be exerted..
