Just went through the laws of the game. Nothing there that makes this beauty illegal??

@nausainik The blade must be made solely of wood, by including a lamination it is no longer soley wood. It becomes wood with glue in there.
@02thoeva I make bats. And other gear. I DO NOT MAKE THESE ONES. The process of gluing the two bits together is exactly the same as gluing the handle to the cleft, so........ Do you have a link of the article in the Independent?
@nausainik The process of gluing a handle tot he cleft is different, one is allowed under MCC laws and the other isn't.
Please speak to Fraser at the MCC for further guidance.

Illegal for use in cricket though under MCC rules, so looks like a very expensive net bat!
