It's a pity that the focus doesn't stay on the topic because this trend of Hollywood insiders toeing the line for Communism is still alive and kicking today. Unfortunately the last words we hear are that there is antisemitism in Hollywood, so that it becomes a plea for something else.

How can there be claims of "communism" in Hollywood when it´s all about the money? The liberal tones of the movies are about pleasing kids with weed-references, angry music and a lose t¨tt here and there to sell those tickets. Yes, I can see that there is an ideology in many entertaining movies, music and artist but when the money rule in Hollywood how can the "Communist" agenda be the master. I actually can't believe they picked Parenthood out of all the possible shows to make an example of, because it's the most realistic show about family on TV that I've seen, and not nearly as liberal as these two made it seem. There's a reason it's on Tuesdays at 10 PM--NBC wants it to have a small audience.

@MyDormantSoul you're right. MSNBC is about as far left as it can get without stretching into communist. But in the case of ABC and CNN there are a lot of instances of left wing bias. Just not as obviously predominate as MSNBC. CNN had that fiasco where they poised the Tea Party as violent gun-toting racists without letting them get a word in edgewise. ABC, although NOT a very sturdy example, had an interview with grade school kids and in a way, allowed them to accept socialist thinking.

If a person is going to comment on how Hollywood rewrites history, one should not rewrite history in the telling. The Reagan ordered bombing of Libya was in April of 1986, in response to a terrorist bombing of a night club in Germany. The Lockerbie terrorist attack on the Pan Am flight was in December of 1988.

Hard to pay a whole lot of attention to any message when the credibility is suspect.
