glue? did he say glue? no scart connectors? it also doesnt have the ability to handle 1080p, escuse me 1 moment, you are advertising a 1080p tv and then you go and say that? So its not really a 1080p then? i mean, if it cant handle the 1080p then its not a 1080 p right? right? or am i really fucking stupid
ok why the fuck do none of the high end tv's have a dvi pc input, they all have only the gay ass vga pos, if anybody knows of a good high end tv with a dvi input plz reply with a link, twould be awesome
Beware with LG plasmas: some of the panels suffer from floating blacks (look at the videos in my profile to see how bad they are) and LG, while admitting that their plasmas do it, they don't acknowledge it as a problem.
(I don't care who responds, just as long as you know what your talking about) QUESTION: A lot of these T.Vs have the Optical out on the back. My receiver is newer, but doesn't support HDMI but does have the Optical in. I'm currently using that and I'm very pleased with the quality. My computer though, does do HDMI full HD out and I would like to use that to go to my T.V but it is kind of far away and I do not want to run an Optical cable to it. Will it encode the HDMI audio into the optical out?
I've owed this TV since the middle of December and love it. The previous TV was a 46" Mitsubishi Rear Projection and it blows that one away... The picture is great and like the clips showed there are a ton of features. Switching between components is a little slow but other than that I would give it a 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Best part is I got mine on sale for $899.00, same price as other brand's plasmas in 720p
I haven't played games on my LG50PS80. It CAN suffer from image retention, so I mostly watch TV/Movies on it. I'm sure video games would look great though! The TV has an amazing picture, I'm very happy with it.
