thanks for your critique, until now, have not had permission to put those aspect of internal arts on tape for display. Tradition is changing though, so maybe soon
The music was corny as hell; but I gotta' say, this Sifu is good ... real good!
It's the way he moves; his pugilistic drills make logical sense.
I also love the fact that he cross trains in Xing-Yi, Bagua, Wing Chun, Kali, and something that looked like Pentjak Silat (although I may be wrong here).
wow, i was just browsing through youtube for xingyi related things and i came across your video. first off, i'd like to say i enjoyed it. great demonstrations throughout the video.
and now for the question... those xinyi dao shirts, would you happen to be one of master li tailiang's students? he used to be my teacher, when he was still here in the US. now i'm learning taiji and bagua with his students, henry yiin and sheu lien-lung, if you know them.
Regan I like this, I also do Xingyi/Bagua/Taiji, and its good that your covering all the different ranges and focusing more on fighting aspect, as it should be.
I want to know, what style of Bagua do you do? Curious because the form you showed is the same exact same form I do (with kick).
From these clips it is obvious that Shifu Dan is a rare and gifted martial artist.
