  • Thats why i admire JAPS....fuck what people say they take which ever character they see fir to win other people kill them selves by picking characters that suck just to prove that sagat is a fraud?

  • desync

  • and not a single tatsumaki senpuu kyaku was thrown by Ryu.

  • @superharith did not see that, thanks!

  • apaaaaacat

  • Although mago had one of the best sagat's in SF4, his fei long is way more interesting

  • sagat is da f((*&^% man

  • i'm a sagat player and i fucking hate ryu so much

  • @goodmaxgood ahah im the complete oposite, me and my friend battle that same fight out everyday, me being ryu

  • @goodmaxgood ur skillless gg

  • japanese commentor so annoing ((

  • wow this is a real fight. there not just spamming srk and hadoukens all day these guys are throwing kicks and punches, blocking and doing amazing shit. mago is very fun to watch and daigo too.

  • Daigo got his ass whooped

  • @Temorkhan By Sagat, not saying much.

  • worst daigo ive seen

  • daigo was not on point this tourny !_!

  • Lol@ anyone complaining about Sagat and balance. If Sagat is overpowered I hate to think about Chun in SF3, or Dhalsim in SF2. Some pros label the dhalsim-guile match in ST to be 9.5 to .5. I don't see any matches like that in 4.

  • @moonlitearthx14

    So true.

Though, to a non tournament level player, a beginner CAN pick up Sagat and spam Tigers, leaving the other person similar to his level completely stumped on what to do.

That is why he is labelled as OP and cheap, scrubby by the online community. Personally, I feel his Tiger damage shouldn't be so high, especially as he's got the fastest ones in the game.

But, there are ways to beat everything. Just, Sagat, esp. with non proj. characters, is a VERY large uphill fight

  • if they keep spamming tiger shots u can just jump over and punish, considering the noob doesnt know when to stop using tiger shots..

  • @anhchristapha

You're not getting what i'm saying, are you?

Yeah, there is a way to counter it, but if you have a non projectile character, and have just picked the game up WITH someone who's done the same, then Sagat is very much in favour to win.

That, and this Sagat knows when and when not to throw shots. When you're up close, and over 2/3 screen away, you can throw.

  • yeah except sagat's high kick is a strong anti air. so he can just sit back and camp all he wants.

  • @keroberus2 M.bison also OP.

  • have you never seen his godly focus cancels? he may not be the most creative, but i'm pretty sure that you or anyone else you know can do the combos he can do, thats why he has fans and thats why hes pro

  • actually some pros label the Seth v. Zangief match in SF4 to be 9.5 to .5

...but now i've heard other pros label this same match as 7:3

nonetheless some pros do consider it 9.5 to .5

so, sorry dude, gotta disagree with u

    peace

  • It's a tough one but I have a very hard time believing it's any worse than 8-2. And I personally don't mind having counter-matching anywhere along the board. Zangief's a high tier character, go ahead and give him a countermatch or two. Cammy had an unusually good match vs Dhalsim in ST because her jump attacks would beat his slides and some of his anti air, even though they're the worst and best character in the game. Yun beats Chun-li 7-3, Honda rapes except fireballers. Whatever.

  • In my opinion Zangief is OP & Noob friendly to the online players, I face more Zangiefs, blankas & ryus online than Sagats, and if i face a sagat they're usually poor spammers. Zangiefs has like 2 or 3 bad match-ups & the rest he dominates. I've even faced Zangief players who are really good wit gief but are hopless with everyone else & i mean hopeless!!

    Zangief=Overpowered & N00B Friendly

  • @Udermench Very true.

  • @Cajunx2001 you'd have to be an idiot to think of it as 9.5:0.5. no actual pro thinks that.

  • oh, and by the way, one notable pro who considers Seth v. Gief in SF4 to be 9.5 to .5 is Justin Wong, check it out on an interview he's done, posted on youtube

  • Daigo did defeat Mago with Ryu so, calm down

  • Kyojlpg = noob shit

  • child please. go play halo

  • he is not a scrub - thats how you play sagat to win

if anyone is a scrub its the guy who designed sagat in SFIV

  • i bet you would

  • best....sagat.....on earth?

  • so uryo won the tourney?

  • no he lost

  • uhh...no.

  • mago dominated

  • Mago is pretty damned impressive.
