  • @ohmydinosare yeah, that's the first time Deadly has been on

  • that's the first appearance of uncle deadly, isn't it?

  • OMG that house of horror was hilarous

    he turns into Jack Parnell

    priceless

  • i'd LOOOOOVE to live in the House of Horror if Vincent Price visited me

i'm 19(and i never heard of him until after Edward Scissorhand, and his sad passing from us mortals, and ofcourse after hearing him as Rratigan, i fell head over heels in love with him, and now seeing him in person, i'm even more in love with him), who wouldn't be? He's so charming, handsome, sweet, polite, not to mention his voice, so many things i think of it. But what got me, was his laughter near the ending of Thriller.

  • RIP Vincent Price

  • @xXStrawberryxMisaXx lol, thanks for the image. It will keep me smiling from now on whenever i'm in a bad mood

  • @lotten1992

    Your welcome :)

  • A copy of Marvel Zombies Hardcover- 13.65, A copy of the complete tales and poems of Edgar Allen Poe- 16.47. Seeing Vincent Price Surrounded by Muppets? Priceless.

  • Kermit's face is crooked... O_O Just noticed at 0:59

  • That Kermit/Scooter sketch is awesome; Abbott and Costello would be proud.

  • Uncle Deadly sounds exactly like a British Zoidberg...

  • Vincent seems like he's having a great time! XD

  • I knew a vampire who was so rich, he bought a blood bank!

  • Behemoth is well named; he's big for not being a full-body monster, right?

  • Why did Gonzo get a summer cottage for New Year's Eve? :P

  • @SkylerQ91 If someone is going to get a summer cottage on New Year's Eve, wouldn't it be Gonzo?

  • @wooloughby Point well taken. :)

  • lol

  • Vincent we miss you so much you were the best

  • No carzyness, slap-stick or sillyness

    (SPLAT!)

At least not much of it.

  • I named my Muppet Whatnot after Vincent... such an awesome person, actor, etc...

  • In that time vampires didn't sparkle.

    I miss the original vampires ) :

    RIP Vincent Price

  • @xXStrawberryxMisaXx you're not alone about that. I miss them to

the only vampires i can accept are the ones in the Hugh Jackman-version of Van Helsing. Now THOSE are true vampires, unlike the 'disco-balls' of Twilight

  • @xXStrawberryxMisaXx maybe if Vincent price was in twilight he could mae it awesome...by mouthing off to the director and Myers and making it awesome

  • @Sonichero151

    o_o yes... omg <333 :'D that'd be awesome!

  • It's a pity that movie monster actors since Vincent Price have had to stay out of the spotlight (ie Robert Englund, et al).

  • Vincent Price was and still is a genius! He's got a voice that can make you get goosebumps.

  • @cupcake101 Vincent Price has been dead for nearly 20 years. But he was great, that's for sure. He will not be forgotten.

  • who is jack parnell?

  • @iheartthemaxx He was the real conductor for the "The Muppet Show".

  • @iheartthemaxx : According to "Muppet Wiki", Jack Parnell was The Muppet Show's conductor for the full run of the series... So I guess it was an inside joke... I have seen a book version of Muppet Show skits that has Vincent turn into the much better known Guy Lombardo.

  • This looks great! I don't remember this one but man I forgot the first opening they had. Price is great!

  • I love Vincent Price, he scared the crap outta me at the end of Micheal Jackson's Thriller with that laugh of his. May he be remebered for all time. RIP Vincent, you are deeply missed.

  • @Faustlover14 I agree VP is awesome. He was the one redeeming parts of the 13 ghosts of scooby do

  • @ 2:01 let the scariness begin.

  • ..originally it was Guy Lombardo...

  • vincent price the ultimate villian for all time. no one will ever take your place

  • 7:05 his horse had a flat tire..............he must be driving a ford mustang

  • 3:18 XD splash attack

  • THIS is the best opening! I still remember being traumatized as a child when they did the 'new' opening! LOL

  • "bring butter".

  • Vincent Price and The Muppets? Who could ask for more?

  • Tom Dick and Harry look like conjoined Fraggle triplets, don't they?

  • Only the Muppets can make the phrase 'I've got you under my skin' humorously literal! XD

  • The beautiful assistant's name is Uncle Deadly

  • "GET back down there!" LMAO!

  • ahahahah, my horse got a flat tire xD

  • there will never be another like him...

  • what is the name of "the beautiful assistant"?

  • @MsBlackdeath13 uncle deadly

  • @MsBlackdeath13 The beautiful assistant is my favorite muppet, Uncle Deadly!

  • Either there was a hole in the back of Behemoth's mouth Shakey could just fall into, or they had to be careful not to damage the puppet when pulling it through, right?

  • 9:26, LMAO!!!

  • JACK PARNELLL!!!

  • I repeat, HOLY SHIT!

  • That part at 2:15 as well as the rest of the song is both funny and disturbing at the same time.

  • I think Vincent Price is a little bit mental.

  • @redbayly as most of the older great artists were though

  • FACTUAL INFORMATION:

The "eater" is called Behemoth. The puppeteer was Richard Hunt. The bird he ate is "Shakey Sanchez". He was operated by Jim Henson.

Vincent Price turned into "Jack Parnell". His name was used in this sketch instead of the originally planned "Guy Lombardo", because he was not well known in all countries.

Source: Muppet Show - Season 1 - "Muppet Morsels" turned ON.

  • Wonderful ^_^

  • i really miss this show

  • How in the world did the puppeteer manage the puppet after he took him out of his mouth? There was no cutaway from the puppet so the person could restring him or whatever. . Amazing

  • The puppeteer of the "Eater" hold the puppet close to the table, so another one could put his hand into the "lunch-puppet" ;-)!

  • "...and then, I get MEAN!" XD

  • Ahhh nostalgia...Its stuff like this that got me into crafts/arts/comedy ^^

  • WAKA, WAKA, WAKA!!

  • Vicent Price on Muppet Show? Ow, i like Vincent a lot!

  • Aww I miss the muppet show...this was when TV was good haha

  • Hey listen, on your way back up bring some popcorn!

    With butter!

  • Lol the hunted house part was great. Boy hideous is right . Fozzy never gets old.

  • Vincenmt Price... you were marvelous. Well done, sir.

  • I remember Fossi's wakawaka laugh!!!....this is one of my favorite t. v shows.....and ever intelligent created for children

  • cool

  • Thank you so very much for this upload.. great fun. Vincent Price Prince of terror Legend!

  • I love the muppets! :) Nice work.

  • Was anyone else a bit spooked by this episode when they were little? I was, but I guess some kids are fascinated by monsters as well as scared by them, huh?

  • Dude the "I've got you under my skin" sketch use to freak me out.

  • "STOP! Before you begin!" Num num num!

  • For some reason I thought he turned into Guy Lumbardo.

  • Originally the sketch was going to have him turning into Guy Lombardo, and this idea appeared in the subsequent Muppet Show book. But since Guy Lombardo died shortly before this aired, they changed it to Jack Parnell, who happened to be the bandleader for the show.

  • big thanks for the unknown insight..

  • @PhaedrusNYC You can tell this because Uncle Deadly's lipsync is "off," since he was originally manipulated to match the three-syllable "Guy Lombardo."

  • If it's not already been said, I'll say it...

    WAY COOLER THAN EDWARD CULLEN.

Really. Before I saw this I thought he was British for some reason...

  • I think if you listen carefully you can hear Shakey whimper before being eaten, can't you?

  • God Bless ye, Vincent, ye will be missed.

  • yes he was a great actor!

  • toko?

  • Vincent Price was such a damn good actor.

  • @XeroTolerence The Master of Macabre, the Crown Prince of Terror. They just don't make them like Vincent Price any more, may his ghost haunt us all for eternity. Vincent Price is the greatest horror movie star. I love the grotesque cannibalistic version of Cole Porter's I've Got You Under My Skin at the beginning of this episode! Classic!

  • @midnightrider245 i have loved vincent price since i was a little girl, my mother rip. and myself used to watch all his horror films. now i still do. he had that voice that no one can ever replace.

  • @XeroTolerence Please do not curse.

  • @XeroTolerence Please do not curse.

  • Thank you so much for posting this!

  • And be sure to check out Vincent Price on Fairy Tale Theater's "Snow White." He plays the magic mirror, and he's great as always!

  • gotta love vincent price. :)

  • lol omg no way vincent price! this is officially my favorite episode ever

  • Big Eating Muppet = Scooter's voice?

  • Man, Jim Henson was a friggin' genius. And Vincent Price - wow!

  • Not to mention that Price voiced the narration at the beginning of Iron Maiden´s "The Number of the Beast".

  • Not true:

Before the music starts, this opens with an a cappella quote from The Book of Revelation. The band wanted the horror film actor Vincent Price to read this intro, but he wanted more money than they were willing to pay (a year later, Price lent his voice to Michael Jackson's "Thriller"). The quote was read by an unknown thespian actor who had no interest in the band

  • You´re right.

    Damn!

  • Kermit looks funny with that goop on his face

  • thanks for posting i love vincent!

  • The small creature in the "Under My Skin" number looks like an early prototype for "Fraggle Rock" and resembles Wembley.

  • He was named Shaky Sanchez, who would later get his name in the last backstage segment of the Glenda Jackson episode where he did a bomb-balancing act.

  • omg i miss this show i used to watch it ALL the time

  • he did the narration for michael jackson's thriller

  • um...he's also starred in like a trillion great, classic horror movies like the original House on Haunted Hill, House of Wax, and The Bat. And he also had tons of theatre experience under his belt. Vincent Price was the man!

  • He Also Voices A Character Based Off of Him in "The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo" Named Vincent Van Ghoul

  • & edward scissorhands!

  • he was also the host of MYSTERY from 1981-1989 on PBS and appeared in Tilex TV commercials among other endorsements.

  • I have this ep on VHS D: I grew up on it, man! Also had Alice Cooper <3

  • Vincent Price <3 <3

  • Favorite episode of all time!

  • He also voice acted for a char in 13 ghosts of scooby doo

  • And then I get mean. Great!

  • Wampire Veekly!

  • do you know what disney villain that he play as

  • He also voiced Herod in "The Nativity" episode from Hanna-Barbera's "The Greatest Adventure: Stories from the Bible" series, and the king with Jonathan Winters in "The Little Troll Prince", and narrated Tim Burton's "Vincent" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller".

  • Vincent Price was great!

  • This episode is fantastic. Vincent Price is one of my favorite actors. R.I.P. Vincent...Er, that is, if you're not wandering around as one of the undead. (I wouldn't put it past him)

  • I love this episode :) ahh vincent Price, gotta love him.

  • Vincent Price was a master in horror films. He has an awesome creepy voice.

  • Vincent Price is god !

  • Vincent Price made it worth watching. My horse had a flat tire...)

That one always makes me laugh!

  • When I first saw this segment, Vincent Price turned into Guy Lombardo. Somebody once explained to me why there were two different names said, but I forget now...
