I cant describe how good this game is, Ive played it when I was about the age of 9 and it was great! this and a few other old school games will stay forever in my mind. rise your thumbs for: UT, Red Alert 2, Deus Ex, Descent³, Draken, Age of Empires, Starcraft, Machines wired for war, Quake 3 arena and half life 1! this games I have played as a child, there are of course lots of more games worth to mention them!

I almost started to QQ (Cry) when i heard this; remembering me of my childhood. I was playing UT 99 since i was like 5 years old. At the age of 7-8, i started to win every LAN match against guys who were like 14-18. Now i am pro gamer. UT 99 teached me everything. <3 forever!

I found the redeemer and thought... maaan what a huge gun.. i wanted to fire it down the sectors, but fell after it accidently... the explpsion killed 7 people and me (falling after it) and my head flew up all the sectors to space XDDD

Personally I never liked Quake 3 but as a child 6-8 I loved Quake 2. When I found Unreal Tournament It became one of those games you kept playing through out your life. Now over 9 years later I still play UT99 with a passion. Quake 3 just wasn't my game. UT99 I LOVE YOU!!!

For me, difference between these two outstanding in unique way games right now, is that I still play UT unlike Q3. Back then I played both... and for me UT has the atmosphere I cant still forget, and Q3 has the dynamic I couldnt resist...

I 100% agree. This is the only game I used to turn the music volume to 100% and the main sound to about 50%, so I could turn up the computer volume even more and hear the beautiful music. Oh, and I used to do that on Serious Sam too, when I think of it :P
