@SuperFiaaa american...similar but very different. Most people in america are too stupid to realize this and the same could be said for citiziens of GB.
@greezyc Ha ha! My freind and I did the same thing. We were like wow this chick sounds like Jimi Hendrix. Went and met all of them at a signing at a record store in N.J. THEY WERE ALL COOL. Wendy like my home made Plasmatics t-shirt too.
This was always one of my favorite songs on "New Hope For The Wretched" - which was their first record. I just got the DVD and it's AMAZING!, a MUST for every Plasmatics fan. Now I've been listening to all my old Plasmatics records and realized I've just about worn them down so I'm gonna get it all on CD! :) Saw them NY's Eve in 1981!
this band got rather popular too. they were on the joan rivers show for example. the 80s were the last decade in which good bands made it into pop culture.
I remember seeing them on '' solid gold'' blowin the roof on the place with there hit BLACK LEATHER MONSTER !!!!!!' it freaked my mom out !!! I loved it and still do , this band was way before there time !!!!!
i wish wendy was still with us, would have loved to hear her opinions about george dubya....
also she made an album, in the early 80's predicting the rise of greenhouse gases, melting glaciers, and all types of ill shit that we are dealing with today.
wendy was such an intellectual, there just aint anyone 2day that can compare.
i saw the plasmatics several times in the late 70s and early 80s the world still isnt ready for the most visually entertaining band in history cohetedisco is right but didnt mention the most out of controll guitar freight train aka richie stotts and rhythm god wes beech
The Plasmatics were a great band, it's a sadness that Wendy killed herself.

I bought this 12" back in 1980(?). I didn't know it was a 45, so the first few times I listened to it at 33 speed... Haha, it was still awesome!
