Really?! I've only ever made videos for fun... most of the time. Sometimes I get a bit discouraged if someone tells me they disliked my video because the clips didn't match the beat of the song...
But you are one talented video maker. I just enjoy seeing the creative ideas you can come up with. I'll miss your videos a lot. I won't be able to scout out your new account...sorry...I'm starting college in a few weeks so I'm done with Youtube.

I think it's sorta unfair for you not to tell anyone your new account. For those who don't edit and some who do, watching other's videos is as much of a release as editing. :C But it's not my decision. Still I'll try to keep your point in mine myself and edit for fun
Yep, now everything is about the effects and MASKING. If you don't have SV or any advanced program, you are lost in the croud. But I think it's important to make videos for yourself and people who really enjoy them. I hope I'll find your new account ^^
And I agree, it seems like you have to mask every video & do like ultramega cool clips and so on. I can't even use a song that I think sounds good cause someone else has already used it and then it seems like I'm a copycat?
I subscribed for videos with a story, effects are pretty but they aren't needed constantly - I think vids like "The Demon's Interior" series showed that even with a shorter more simple set of clips you can tell an awesome story - not that I'm saying you didn't do tremendous editing or use effects in it - but it was the story that made it awesome!
I can see why you'd feel pressured, I used to be like "why does no one like my vids :( is it because it's just it's WMM and aren't as good as the others?"
But I think just making them for yourself is enough now - you can use effects as much or as little as you want, so long as you are proud of your vid - we'll all love it no matter what anyway!
I, once again, agree with everyone. :( You go around and see all the videos that are getting all the fame and attention, while most (but not all), are just videos with effects. There's no true meaning to them, they're just....something. I think that's why some of the greatest editors get shoved aside, because they don't use all these flashy effects. Things on this site are becoming more and more dramatic and stressful, and it's really making me sad because some of my all time favorite editors are leaving/making new accounts. You, Sam, and a few others are some of the greatest editors I know, but you guys are fed up with the stress here, and it makes me really upset. I'll lack inspiration for weeks on end now. ._.

OH! I've watched this anime. The first episode at least, couldn't last watching the rest.
Also, I ADORE Hollywood Undead and this is my favourite song by them.
I agree with you, obviously.
The best editors sometimes don't even get the credit they deserve. It's all become a popularity contest. Youtube, I mean.
