well, the thing with tuning down the strings a half step is not so easy or takes much time if you have a locking tremolo on your guitar, so i decided just to tune up the mp3 a half step. and in the outro solo i wanted to play some faster little improvisations in there. and i'm not so fast to play those fast notes in octaves^^

the perfect guitar for metallica songs would be either the kirk hammett signatur "ESP (or LTD) KH-2 or the James Signatur: ESP (or LTD) JH-1 (or w, i'm not sure). but those are very expensive, between 600 and 3000€. i would recommend an ibanez rg to you. they aren't too expensive and they give you the same playability.

it's an ibanez RG 320 fm am. i cost about 439€ when i bought it. now you can't buy this one anymore. maybe on ebay. the quality is very good. very easy playable and always sounding good. i'm very happy with this one.
