Yinyang means the cycle of the universe, bright side and dark side come through circles. But even in bright side, there's darkness in between and vice versa. This is very Chinese. Everyone knows it is a special symbol of Tao. No Buddhists or Lamaists use this symbol.

Keep hanging that flag! Good for you! That little circle, yinyang on the flag means Tibet is part of China. Yinyang is the symbol of philosophic thinking of Tao which can trace back to 3 thousand years ago.
