The funny thing with the battle of St. Benedict is that only a 20% of the Allied bombs hit the ACTUAL German troops,while the bombing of the monastery didn't kill anyone except monks and a 5-10% of the bombs hit the Allies themselves.(Thinking of the huge amounts of bombs dropped,a 5-10% is by no means a small number).

@theodorosregmt Yea, that was the problem with bomb during ww2. We didn't have any of good way to drop bombs prosaically. It was more of a massive bomb drop and hoped you hit the enemy.

Der zweite Weltkrieg war nur deshalb ein Weltkrieg, weil das Britische Empire alle seine Kolonien mit reingezogen hat.

Ansonsten wäre es ein europäischer, vielleicht europäisch-amerikanischer Krieg gewesen, Russland jetzt mal zu Europa gezählt.

Genau dasselbe im ersten Weltkrieg, "Welt"krieg nur wegen der britischen Kolonien.

damals waren die britischen kolonien allesamt kolonien also teil des mutterlandes

deswegen war der 2. weltkrieg auch kein europäisch- afrikanischer krieg, da die kriegsschauplätze französische, britische und italienische kolonien waren.

tatsächlich wurde der europäische krieg erst durch den kriegseintritt der USA auf europäischem boden zum weltkrieg

das selbe gilt übrigens auch für den ersten weltkrieg ;-)

Durch Sabaton und deine Videos habe ich den Drang dazu immer mehr über den 2ten Weltkrieg zuerfahrn und allgemein über die geschichtlichen Ereignisse vor unsrer Zeit.
