  • Awesome video! Very fun to watch and a great example of the fail-safe "X-stick" circuit of a railroad crossing ("A-stick" and "B-stick" circuits lead off in each direction, in this case as "motion sensitive" circuits. But the "X-stick" which covers the crossing itself, operates via a dead shunt (a direct short through the axles between the rails completes the circuit to force the crossing lights on).
