I love this video. The editing is fantastic and the song fits this episodes River nicely. Really my only problems with this episode were that Mels was completely retconned in and it was too rushed. (can you imagine how cool it would have been if Mels had been mentioned or shown the last two seasons!) Other then that it was gold.
@nenny189 Well, she presumably only turned up in the version of events that had both Rory and Amy's parents in it. She just flat out didn't exist in series 5 and with all the silence-induced holes in her memory, older!River probably wouldn't even have noticed another missing chunk of her early life... The only place where she could have shown up is the wedding, and one can assume that she didn't want to interfere with the events leading up to her own conception)

I just realized... it couldn't have been Melody/River who killed the doctor. She said very clearly that it was never supposed to be a gun for him.
