  • sabbath kicked so much ass after ozzy left

  • This is hilarious. Did the director even bother listening to the words? Seriously? For the line "I was at Brands Hatch in my imagination" there's a shot of a crash at Monaco. WTF?

    Still... awesome song!

  • heavy load

  • Gillan+ Sabbath, works fine for me with the right amount of smoke :)

  • saw this show encore was smoke o t water

  • deep purple meats black sabbath was a great idea wish they would try it again!

  • Ozzy called it Blackmore Sabbath! But He said it was the best they did since he left. What a great band up until 1987 or so!!! whoever fronted them up until the headles cross crap.

  • They could have done a straight concert video and saved $50-$75 in special effects money.

  • the ambulance driver at 3:00 is the coolest looking dude ever, thats one handsome dude.

  • the vid was stupid ,typical '80s but the song kix fuckin ass, what a killer tag team ian gillian of deep purple with sabbath they probably shoud've called themselves purple sabbath because they created a sound of their own here,i did'nt know bill ward was'nt there but it still kicked ass.

  • Awesome. Great video. Black Sabbath rules.

  • Ian Gillan DEstrói!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fuckin a man

  • Gillian is amazing!

That last scream is not human!

  • one of sabbaths best songs speed and power, but whos the drummer?

  • Bev Bevan from E.L.O.

  • nah, its not live so the drummer on this recording is bill ward,

  • The bartender looks like Mr. bean's brother. lol

    I love this shit!!!!!!!

  • song is great but the video sucks

  • best song this lp excellent song lp so so

  • This song is kick ass! I love the Born Again album.

  • This song/album is/was really good, overlooked, and underrated.

  • Yep, Iommi was the Sabs don't you think? The singers always get the glory, important to have a good front man of course but without the riffs and bass / drums section they'd sound the same as Leo Sayer or worse! Bee Gees singing NIB or Sweet Leaf anyone? Gixxer

  • has ayone ever heard a better guitar sound???!!!

  • Lokk out mother fucker im Trashed and ill still beat yooo asss

  • WhAt a Kickass Blaze the shit up pound your fuckn drink and get fuckeddd up song yaaaa

  • Ian Gillan is the best singer,in Deep Purple and Black Sabbath ,he is the voice of HEAVY METAL ¡¡¡¡¡

  • DP management offered Mark II lots of $ for a reunion.

  • it is a great song but its too much in the way of power metal....thats not real sabbath...

  • oh its sabbath man, real sabbath is and will always be created by toni iommi, he kept the dream alive when ozzy sodded off and dio as well. gillan was a short stay but i thought they made some great pumping heavy music during that time. however im no tony martin fan....

  • fully agree bro, gillian filled the slot perfectly! sabbath, fucken sabbath!!

  • part of sabbath's legacy is power metal...dio years, this, and tony martin years...

  • Great song, great album. Why this album was trashed by fans and critics I will never know.

Bev Bevan is a great drummer, and well Gillian is Gillian.

  • I love this song! It is the best song off of Born Again!!

  • Just called my local record store and had to have them order the Born Again CD for me.They didn't have it in stock and all I have it on is cassette :-(

  • Don't know what the kiddies down below were catfighting about and not even going to read to find out.

Anyway, this is my favorite track off of the Born Again album. They ALL kick serious ass though.\m/

  • What do I do? I have two college Bachelor's degrees and am 10 cerdits short of a Master's...and I'm only 23. And I've been in two bands and played guitar 6 years. I'm damn certain I make more money than you do in a year...even though I'm 15 years behind you. Not that any of that really matters, but you wanted to know. Regardless, none of that makes me necessarily smarter than you, but I am, so great for me.

  • Do you want the last word? Fine. It's yours. There's nothing more I can say because you can't too easily fix an idiot. So have fun with your 'itto bitty drum kit Junior.

  • I eclipsed you in intelligence by the time I was nine...Mr. Level 8 Drummer.

  • It's not a typo, it's you not knowing the difference between seamen and semen. Dolt.

  • Get out of that? Is that an insult? Seamen?? Those are sailors. You mean SEMEN. God you're dumb. If you're going to insult me, at least get the words right. Now all you've done is made yourself look like a moron. I'm not even sure why you're mad, I never said Glenn Hughes was a bad singer, I said he was bad for Sabbath. I think you're being angry over nothing. Perhaps a nap would put you in a better mood.

  • Grade 8...whoopie shit. Like being able to play drums at a middle school level makes you an authority on vocal ability...

  • Way underrated Sabbath linup.

  • Listened to this one driving drunk through heavy traffic because of some bitch.

  • fuck your tequila Gillan that guy was kidnapped by the dead !!!

  • Been looking for this video since before the inception if the web!! Thanks!!

  • "The bitch was trashed and death was in my eyes"

A killer song on by ian gillen and sabbath, this is one of my favorites.

  • did anyone notice that Mr. Miracle looked like Ozzy and had a Big O with a cross through it in the video?????

  • I remember this from my high school days. The release "Born Again" is actually a very good collection of songs that have their own sound and feel. I actually saw this lineup in concert, and Ill never forget the very day I bought the ticket was the day Reagan was shot.

  • Really ,Reagan was shot in 1981, this lineup didn't exist until

    mid 1983

  • I am a big fan of ozzy-era sabbath (and a moderate fan of Dio-era sabbath), and have always heard that this album is terrible. That may be true, but this song is really great (I am hearing it for the first time). I can understand not liking Ian's voice, but I don't mind it. Sounds like a good cross of purple and sabbath. Not for everyone, but by no means bad.

    I like it!

  • it would have been awesome to have had more sabbath with gillian i love ozzy noone compares to him and dio is a metal god but gillian and sabbath had something almost as equally special as the original line up i will love this song FOREVER

  • Great catchy riff!

  • What are you on about? how about the debut, Paranoid, Master Of Reality, Sabotage, Heaven And Hell, Mob Rules, Born Again, Eternal Idol.....

  • sounds kinda like paranoid

  • Fookin full on jam!

  • im pretty sure it was because of the deep purple reunion

  • Don't you bother with this fool just laghing to my eyes haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Just laugh..into...my eyes, got it now ?

  • to bad this was the only album they did with gillan, it would have been cool to see what else they could have come up with

  • These chicks are cool.

  • Were there any singles released from Born Again? Bev Bevan from ELO on drums

  • yes a radio edit of trashed (shorted version) was released. i have the 12 inch album single someone from a radio station gave me with zero the hero edit on side 2. its rare and didnt get any radio play really.

  • The video is cheesy in the way only 80s cheese can be. But I love it. Born Again was a nasty raw piece of work when everything sounded so weak and over-polished. Iommi rips on this.

  • im down with this!!

    f yeah

  • this is the only song i like off this album

  • fucked up ian's name! my bad all!mr IAN GILLAN

  • there was peter and the green fly laughing like dreams inebreation! gillian is bad!

  • ahahahahha

    crazy video!

  • There was no tequila, but whiskey instead lol. Great song. Makes you think about the foolish idea of drinking and driving fast.

  • knew I wouldnt make it the car just couldnt take it

I was turning the tires burning

The ground was in my sky

I was laughing the bitch was trashed

And death was in my eye

  • 14 sabbath albums never say die =or born again!!! tied!!

  • one of the best sabbath albums!!!

  • ian will kill ozzy anyday!!!!

  • Funny clip awesome song this shit is so heavy ozzy cant sing this good. AWESOME.

  • this is the best wreck- your- car- while-

    drunk-driving song ever!

  • Ian said once that he (Ian) was the worst singer Black Sabbath ever had. But IMO Gillan is much better singer than Ozzy, but Ozzy is (was?) the heart of Black Sabbath. Ian in DP is (was?) the best of the best.

  • modesty

  • fuckin shite cant beat ozzy

  • i thought i was the only one that liked born again lol

  • I think in my opinion that Born Again is one of the best Sabbath albums ;) .

  • Agree! But Gillan has not the gloom feeling of Ozzy, although Ozzy has not the vocal quality of Gillan.

  • Fuckin'amazing!

  • Regardless of singer... this a HOT SABBATH TUNE!

  • Must have sucked having such shitty cars to drive while drinking your road pops because of living in the UK. I had big block Detroit iron to drive pissed and sometimes pile up back in the day!

  • ooooooyeea great reproduction

  • This was a great era for Sabbath loved this show i got to see it twice once in Toledo ohio at the sports arena then again at Cobo hall in detroit Ians voice was dead on all the screams etc im looking at this concerts tour program as i type great memorys for sure!

  • I too was at the Cobo show. Too bad they didn't do this song in concert. Quiet Riot opened for them. They were at their peak.

  • Amazing vocals from Gillan! Only Gillan would sing a line like... went back to the bar to hit the bottle again but there was no tequila!!!!

  • the solo is freakin sick

  • Ian Gillan yes but what about ELO's Bev Bevan on drums?!?!?!?

  • The album features the vocals of Ian Gillan, former singer for Deep Purple, who joined the band in 1983 to replace departed vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Original Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward returned to the band as a replacement for Vinny Appice, who had left with Dio to form the band Dio, but quit the band right before the 1983 tour. Ex-Electric Light Orchestra drummer Bev Bevan was hired to replace Ward on tour. That´s ok?

  • Plasmodeus rocked this shit out. Hey chuck and brad whats up.

  • Too Kool.

  • cause there WAS no TEQUILA

  • Why is this weak??? It's a fucking ROCKER!!

And far better than OZZY'S ULTIMATE SHIT!!!

    I-I MEAN SIN

  • this is weak

  • What a Pile of shit get back to Purple were you belong ,

  • Adoro essa fase do Sabbath.

Born Again é um dos melhores álbuns da banda na minha opinião, gosto de praticamente todas as faixas dele.

  • É uma pena que está fase do Sabbath seja tão desprezada...

  • Further proof to the OZZY-MANIACS that THE BAND was bigger than the singer.

  • Another CLASSIC SABBATH ALBUM bought this the day it came out! LOVED IT yes I love OZZY &

DIO as well It's all about the music and

SABBATH from 1970-1983 we're at their best

    THIS SONG KICKS ASS!!!

  • in my opinion ozzy sucks

dio gillan hughes and martin are far better singers than ozzy

but ozzy was the first and for that he's the best for great deal of sabbath audience

  • yeah n 1k -exactly correct (aka 'perfectly right')

..the thing about Ozzy was that although he's been making records for years now his voice was only considered an "Instrument" for a very short time.

On Black Sabbaths first album his vocals were one fourth of the thickest guitar/bass/drum tone ever heard to that point, his voice actually had a raspy baritone edge to it like a never before heard guitar tone(also found on this album).

Of course his voice was also very very cool on Parinoid...

  • ...his vocals were so cool on that album ...I've seen some bold drunken bastards at kareeoke attempt Warpigs--as soon as the vocals start the entire bar is screaming them right along with him to the point of drowning him out.

Sadley this was pretty much it- a few ok parts here and there but even the other instruments kind of got weaker too, then again Vol.4 would have been incredible had the vocals been like the "first album" Ozzy (2 1/2 years earlier)...once he left puberty his voice stunk

  • hmm... i think ozzy was the best...

  • whatever you cant even play this song on the internet jukebox in portland or. Ian rules, Ozzy rules, Dio rules, Sabbath Rules.

  • mark 7 jag made in the 50's

  • It's a matter of opinion. I liked Ozzy better.

  • hahaha NOICE!

havent heard this since high skool

  • Simply Superb...

  • From Jesus Christ Superstar to Black Sabbath, Ian Gillan covered it all.

  • wtfs?for those are fuck you, like IAN GILLAN

nobody ,HE IS THE ONLY ONE,mother fuckers,

HE IS THE VOICE OF HEAVY METAL,suckers.

HE IS A GOD OF THUNDER,RULES.

  • this song beats ass with beehives on a stick \m/

  • BRITISH METAL

  • Hahaha poor asshole, Ozzy is a shit bag...

  • Wow you're so cool. Douchebag.

  • Ozzy isnt a shitbag and he isnt the only singer for sabbath. ur looking at their 4th singer,im including dave walker, and this album, while it isnt their greatest, rocks. get over the fact that ozzy got fuckin fired it was 30 years ago. even he doesnt whine about it. Sabbath was gonna be a great band with or without ozzy. Ozzy, Dio, Gillan, Martin

  • OZZY IS BETTER THAN THIS Coksucker!

  • Ian Gillan isn't a coksucker...

    He's far better than Ozzy!!!

But Ozzy, for Black Sabbath, is the best singer

  • Stupid ignorant fuckin asshole.....

Ian Gillan is the lead singer of

D E E P - P U R P L E , one of the greatest band of all times and he is one of the best singer of all times!!

  • I love this song, Gillan Rulz!!!

  • can't you hear my lies

    ahah fuck yhea

  • probably one of the best drinkin videos ever. Whew whoww lets drink tequila and drive real fast vmaxkid out

  • Does anyone know if the bartender is Jim Carey? Pause at 00:13

  • Damn I love this song...one of Sabbath's best!!!

  • I thank you Mr. Miracle. Oh, I

    won't get trashed again. :)

  • This song kicks ass!! Why do I always hear people giving negative opinions about the Born Again album and tour? Why? It's one of their best albums! Ian Gillan + Black Sabbath = You can't go wrong!! Gillan RULES!!!

  • One of my favourite Sabbath albums, up there with the debut and Heaven and Hell.

  • I totally agree with you...Sabbath + Ian Gillan = Perfect Rock....Iommi and Gillan together rocks!

  • I Love this kick ass song! It was blaring out of the stereo on my 1978 Cordoba when I flipped it at 3 a.m. 20 years ago. Oh the I-Rone-EEEEEEEE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • I haven't seen this video in years, talk about a flashback. This particular track was my favorite off the Born Again album. This album had three out of four original members.

  • And with Deep Purple's singer, made it even so intriguing. Too bad they diden't do more with Gillan.

  • StratomasterT is thwe bigggest prick of all time it's official

  • gotta love gillan's voice, i love this album

  • Ian Gillan and Sabbath, nice combo ;).

But i prefer him with Deep Purple :D .

  • Me too.

  • Also.. a bit of trivia.. look close.. there's a mini stone hendge in the set behind the band.. can anyone say spinal tap? LOL! After all, Spinal tap didn't make up ANYTHING! Every referene in that movie can be traced to a real band... LOL! Do your homework kids! LOL!

  • less we forget.. if not for the terrible machine shop accident that took Iommi's finger tips, he would never have been forced to drop tune to play which lead directly to the metal sound we all love today! Long live the Sabbath!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting Vinnie! Great song!

  • Ian Gillan greates singer and song writer...

  • This is about wrecking from drunk driving. Who hasn't done that a few times? lol

  • Great album

they should have a reunioun that will be great

for thoose who reckon ian is crap, his got one of the widest vocal range in Rock a very unique vocal range

  • hey this had potential and some damn good riffs unfortunatly when ya try and replace legends like ozzy and dio well gillian has to take the back seat cause OZZY'S DRIVIN AND DIO'S RIDIN SHOTGUN heheheh

  • funny to see bev bevan from elo bashing away there. saw them on this tour, too bad bill ward pulled out but bev did a great job!

  • great song........great album. gotta love keep it warm and disturbing the priest

  • your a fuckin jerkoff. go suck sharons smelly pussy.

  • and we started on the whisky just to settle our brains cause there was no tequilla!

    Fuckin classic

  • Born Again is probably Sabbath's darkest and heaviest album to date. Ian Gillan released another version of this song on his 'Gillan's Inn' album with Tony Iommi on guitar and Ian Paice on drums. It's a much cleaner mix but not as dark.

  • I thought Born Again was a decent album (Trashed being the best song), but I just heard a 1984 Worcester concert ("Gillan Tapes") when they were live and it sounds easily twice as good.

  • Tonny Yommy looks like a perfect "flat head' Tommy Yommy parece um perfeito "Baiano de cabeca chata"

  • Sabbath is the best band in the world!

  • I totally agree...

  • I think Ozzy Dio and Ian did the best. In my eyes none of them can do anything wrong anyway. Born Again is such an under-rated album. It makes me sad.

  • EVERY Black Sabbath era kicks ass especially the Dio era and the gillian era...

  • 1.Dio

    2.Ozzy

    3.Tony Martin

    4.Ian Gillan

Every album except Born Again and Never Say Die! are good though.

  • !!!!!!

  • Ian Gillan the most wonderful singer in the whole world!

  • turnin',burnin',this song rocks asss....

  • the born again album is fucking amazing!!!!

  • DEEP SABBATH ERA WAS COOL, tONY mARTIN era, Original Ozzy era and Heaven and Hell is also fucking great...

  • No tequila - oh man!

  • :D hahah.. yeah no tequila. what a crap situation. :D

  • No tequila - oh man!

  • I took my girlfriend to see this line-up at Cobo Arena in Detroit, 1982 I think it was. Like seeing Sabbath and Deep Purple all wrapped into one! The stage show was outfuckingcold! A dwarf with devil horns and eyes that glowed red, climbing down off a Stonehenge megalith! Awesome!

  • You know... when i see a thing like this i don't know if it's really a HeadBanger who born with passion for Heavy Metal or if is bands like this who keep us passion... Just Amazing... i want to feel this passion i feel for Heavy Metal til the end of my days...
