  • Aw man, I just made this as I was watching this video. I haven't had salsa like this in 6 1/2 years. This guy was working at El Chico, and he made a very mean salsa. We came back a few weeks later, and he no longer worked there :(

    Thanks a heap!

  • Hello is there any substitute for the Mexican spicy sauce as we wont get it in India? Thank you.

  • @vishvesh02 : You can use any sauce and if you can't find that add additional green chillies :)

  • damn it looks so good! making my mouth watery!

  • hey girls, I have just found you here on youtube and I like ALL your recipes, it's exactly the type of food I simply love! and obviously you are not native speakers but your English is excellent! hat off! so I learned with you some new vocab as well (I'm not a native either :)) anyways, keep on this great job!

  • Go to my profile i have salsa videos!!! thank you.

  • Justin Bieber would die if he ate spicy salsa

  • Is this pico de gallo salsa?

  • No offense but I rather take steps from a Mexican when it comes to making "Mexican" Salsa. I did however like the Kadhai Chicken recipe tho.

  • I love to cook and I always watch your videos and try new dishes.. They are awesome.. You are adding not just a pinch os spice but a whole lot of spices and flavors to everyones life. Thank you Hetal and Anuja :-)

  • @SanShaain

Thank you! We're glad you are enjoying our show.

  • it's a good version of salsa, in mexico we boil the tomatoes, or roasted

  • lovellyy

  • Nice recipe, but you didnt add the most integral ingredient: Garlic. There really is no fresh salsa without a clove of fresh garlic, or at the very least, garlic powder.

I still love your recipes and cook them all the time :)

  • You might have missed it, but garlic is definitely a part of this recipe. We used 4 cloves.

  • @Asima77 they put it in the begining

  • Go ahead--add the black pepper. Its taste is very different from that of chiles. In fact, each kind of chile/pepper has its own flavor. I like to mix them.

I'm going to try this. I've never used tomato sauce in my salsa before, but it looked pretty and the Mexican one will add good flavor. And I've never used garlic or salt before. This is going to be totally new for me.

    Thanks for the recipe!

  • This one too girls. :) A good recipe for dipping chips or adding to food and it is sooo much easier in a food processor. It true about the blender, you're making salsa not a salsa smoothie. Ha ha. I would suggest not using a food processor or the tomato sauce. It does look very attractive on a taco. Buena Suerte

  • thank u for the recipe! how long can we store this salsa??

  • It will remain fresh for about a week or so.

  • Always add a pinch of sugar to salsa. It cuts the acidity of the tomato :)

  • thank you!
