Tailgate exit from the Herc is a blast.. did it at Bragg in 1965-1967.. but I like the side door out of the C141.. it's smoother. Fuck Yea... 82nd all the way.. Im 67 now but the memory is fresh.. Loved it.
It does look like cherries, however that one guy looked just like a buddy of mine at JRTC OPFOR! However we all know that cherries do not get to do tail gates on their jumps at Jump school. He must have been cheesen to get to tail gate.
A hollywood tailgate...How the hell did you manage that as a cherry? I'm sittin on 30 and still havn't got a tailgate damnit! Though I have a blackhawk & Italian jump X under my belt...still lucky!

have the best gear? your a dumbass. ever hear of a body armor called dragon skin? its the best out there, with the ability to protect you against multiple 7.62 rounds. yet the army isnt allowed to use it for some gay reason.
and especially during vietnam, yea, we started out with the nice m14, but then they replaced that with the once shitty m16. while all the enemy had the very powerful and never jamming AK47.

3 things could mess up a perfect fun jump .1 GOD. 2. mother nature.3 tge air force. btw r u doing a c130 ramp exit. we dont do them nowadays here in the 82d they said its to dangerous to get a towed jumper.
Little anecdote...on my first jump ever the Air Force jump master couldn't get the right door of the C-130 open. After two other jump masters unsuccessfully tried to help they just moved my caulk to the left side of the airplane and made a third pass over the DZ.
I tell that story anytime somebody says something about a "perfectly" good airplane.
