To them I (and you should too ☺ ) say sorry but kids need to go out, and play, they are kids, not objects, and yep I am a HORRID nanny for listening to their parents on how to work with them, and listenting to my charges for that. Now mind your own business. They may have their moments, but as you know, all kids do right? And this job has been the greatest one ever, as I have found that there is never a dull moment.

As a nanny to three kids two girls and 1 boy, all of whom have autism, to me they are just kids and great, and I have been through the same when taking them to parks and to public places, people think the parents or I should keep them inside or that I am abusing them( I guess also because I am a guy they look at me weird in that way) or not a good nanny simply because I do not give in by shouting or loosing my cool.

I wish there were more parents like you and the ones I know out there and just people in general who understand that kids are kids regardless of what they have or are. That they will always have tantrums, for any reason. And to judge them that they are not good cause they dont listen or whatever is about the same as not listening(cont)
