@rsl84416 The Marshall 1960A or B cabs are Marshalls top of the line cabs they sell. If it sounds like crap. It could be that the amp is crap,or the dude is tone deaf. I wouldnt buy the amp or take tone lessons from this guy.
@iamwheatbread1 I also don't mean any disrespect to James. I think it's great that people come on here to show us new amps. It can be a great help at times. Peace.
Thank you all so much for checking this out. In response to the lick at 1:52, just grab the high E at the 12th fret, grab the B string as you're bending, and reach for the stars (or about 3 frets' worth:-) Happy picking...
@stargate669 depends on style. A person who likes Fender distortion may not like Marshall tones as much and vice versa. In this amps case, it has controllable but thick distortion which feels great when playing single note runs. FRequencies are pleasing and not too brittle.
I played the new Dallas 1x12 50W combo today with a 2008 Gibson Robot Les paul standard...this thing is smooth as butter and it cuts through even better than my marshall full 150w 8x12's its an incredible amp..i'll be glad to add it to my rig
Suh-weet Tone!

Does skillet use this?

@Cobyt501st I seriously doubt it. I've seen them live but I never noticed PRS amps, just guitars.

"Don't try this at home:-)" I take that as less of a warning, and more of a dare when it comes to guitars & gear. So I accept your challenge.

@DustinG28 Well he does have this very nice amp plugged into a bottom line marshall cabinet. Speakers make a huge difference.

Great playing and great soundcheck. The distortion moment really shows what this amp is made of. It's good stuff.

Why do people always judge an amp by what distortion it produces?

What tubes does this specific amp use, on the PRS website you can have el34 or 6l6 power tubes ?
