Don't worry the stellar quality of the band and their performance shines through any av hiccups. You've perfectly encapsulated a moment in time, the grain merely adds to the charm.

At the time it was surely all about digging through the layers to get to the heart of r.e.m.; a hd, 5.1 broadcast somehow wouldn't do r.e.m. circa 1984 justice.
