What really happened. People at sears fuked his lugs up. After he changed to his slicks for his run, this is an autocross run BTW, lugs were even more stripped causing the wheels to come off the 1st time he turned hard.

i have read about this the people just got the car done when this happened and what happend is the car had the wrong lug nuts. when they threaded on they felt tight and they really wernt they just popped right off because they were bearly on the threads of the studs

to bring truth to this video and not some retarded, unknowing idiots commenting on how this happened.....

the gentleman ordered extended studs which is a requirement when running slicks in AutoX events. the nuts that came with the extended studs were of the wrong thread pitch. so naturally, after torquing the nuts down with the slicks, and the side to side movement of the car and the rotation of the wheels had the nuts torque down even more causing the wheels to subsequently fall off.
