turn the sub box facing the rear NOT facing you. you get better results if you do that because the sound will bounce off the trunk and come back to you.

I have VW Golf 4 with cdplayer DEH-P700BT and 4 TS-E170Ci and no sub...i personaly tell you that it way better...without subwoofer...tha bass on my car is insaine...i can barely put it to 30% volume

a little tip if you want your subs to actually pump bass, change your amp. I had that amp powering my two sony 1,300 watts a piece, volume 30 they were barely moving so i changed back to my 400 watt rms MTX amp, huge difference .. on volume 10.
