In fact a single lion can hardly finish off a leopard. Leopards got killed mostly by lions gangs, not in individual one on one fighting with lions.

Male lions are at the top of the food chain and top predator in their environment so of course they have nothing to fear, but you will see lionesses as many as 4 or 5 of them run away from their kill to a clan of hyenas if they are outnumbered 4 to 1 maybe even 3 to 1.

Although I will say that male lions are required from birth to fight their whole lives and would probably beat the same size tiger in a fight, this clip is from an old movie that is obviously a staged fight. Also that is a african lion and not a asiatic. The mane is way too big and full. The asiatic lions mane is much thinner in part due to thicker shrubs and bushes in it's habitat.

I know this is pretty old, but why set this up as if it was a real fight? At any time this was at most a quarrel, never ever a fight to the death. But, hey, maybe I have been watching too many animal behaviour vids eh? LOL! What I don't understand is why use several big cats? Interesting little tidbit: from 5:50 to about 6:30, the same scene was repeted three times, each time from a different angle. First at 5:51, then at 6:08, and finally at 6:19. It seems that the "skinny" lion 1 was such an efficient fighter, he took the tiger out so quickly that there wasn't enough footage for the video! They had to repeat scenes!

Excellent. Very well made. If anyone is trying to make a video about the big cage fight, this is something they HAVE to see. Two lions and a lioness fought one large tiger and two smaller, but still reasonably sized, tigers.

The only major error I could locate is the description of tiger 2 as dead at the end. As it was dragged out of the pit, it moved its arm. I would suggest that it had been worn out, defeated by the lion's strategy of conserving stamina.
