Each patient is unique and those considering any type of foot or ankle procedure should seek medical advice from a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle.
@ Zigzigerblat......running and jumping are the last thing on your mind should you have a titanium ankle implanted or two, like myself.....this surgery is not for the "faint of the heart" and is done as a last resort....your ankle must be considered "terminal"...cartliage is not replacable, it is a soft tissue..."Joint replacement" is exactly that...the recoval of the diseased "bone" and replacing it with a mechanical device...you have other options, this not being one, good luck
Dear Dr. Klein..............your half and half right....I've had two using the "INBONE" device, both left and right.....I was considered end stage.....I also had severe deformity...I'm 48 now and have had both the devices 2 and 4 yrs respectivly...I walk six miles a day, climb latters painting...take care of laundry/kids...I also want to add. with the present devices, I have to plastic in me, both are all titanium...as I've posted on every video, anyone who needs guidence can contact me
@eyesandy1 Do you think running and jumping would be ok with the titanium ones? I am concerned because I am pretty sure I cracked the cartilage in my ankle.
