The song is so solemn that it seems the Beatles are doing serious social commentary - until they explode it with

"FUN is the one thing that money can't buy"

not LOVE, but fun

suddenly makes it sound like the whole thing is melodrama done tongue-in-cheek

"Nakia and his Southern Cousins" were at Scholz Garten a few months ago. It was hot and sweaty but Nakia was great.
