I really like the GT-R, but why didn't they call it a Skyline? The chasis code is R35, which carries on with the Skyline name. It's a TOTAL shame they ditched the RB26. I guess us Americans put too much pressure on the Japanese to make an engine either more humble to ours, OR one that would make our cars actually look GOOD. (I know; imagine that)

...In any case, great car. BUT, i feel it's lost it's heritage. a V engine? The inlines are shaking their heads in dissapointment.

thats exactly how i see it. Most cars have lost their character or soul. Mind you these cars are great as far as numbers go, but what happened to the Sti''s, the EVO's and ofcourse the skyline.

Bottom line is the real cars died at the turn of the millenium.

Overall the new car IS better than the old one, the V6 allows the manufacturer to set the engine further back, allowing for better weight distribution and more room for bigger intercooler, radiator etc.

spoon modify N/A tuned and Mines modify Turbo.... there are a good thing and bad thing about it. Spoon take the corner but if the straight way is long enough ..... turbo take it. all about skills baby.

I can see from Mike's post on nsxprime that spoon wasn't giving him enough respect. I think that if Mike would've brought out a 500hp street trim NSX (not fully gutted and non full slicks) to compete, he'll get more respect. The factor x car is in full race-trim, it's an apple vs orange race. (Just like the XS R32 GTR vs Mines R34 debate a while back). All in all, it's a wicked fast car no doubt.
