I have a serious problem with female singers IN GENERAL. Unfortunately, and out of my own reach, it has turned into being "my thing" apparantly. And, sadly, that's not very popular with ladies :( It's not like I'm biased before listening to a female singer, but I just can't stand it. I find it that male singers, at least the ones I like, sing with a whole different level of passion. But I still don't know why I hate the lady singers. And it's not just solo singers like Gaga - it's the whole lot!

I guess I just hate their goal of vocal perfection, because I tend to get drawn to more ugly vocal styles like David Yow. And even when females try to do something like that, as an early Karen O for example, it's just embarassing. Gals make up for alright bassplayers, and they're nice to look at, but they shouldn't sing....

Sorry to say but ICP is who I really dislike. I don't understand the popularity and the fanbase. I can't hate them because they worked hard at what they did to reach the top but doesn't mean I don't like them. Plus they're supposed to be horrorcore, nothing horrorifying bout rapping clowns.

How can somebody hate the great German Composer, without them.. no music today would be like it is.. especially for Bach, because he get´s the "Wohltemperierte" (dont know what the englisch word it´s for this.. but this doesn´t matter) Tuning into music. He was not the guy who invented this, but he was the first one who can handel it. Ergo, this was the first time, musician from this period was allowed to play there instruments in all keys.

I also have a hard time listening to Jazz. Especially some of that Free Jazz stuff Miles Davis does. It just feels so Random. I listen to a lot of Jazz this summer in my car, because my school radio statoin plays a lot of it and still couldn't figure it out. Maybe I'm listening to it wrong. I'd say I like Sunn Ra, but I'd feeling like a poser only knowing about him because of Madlib and I really hnaven't listened to tha much of him.

No offence to anyone who likes the oldies, but I can barely think of any songs from the 70's or earlier that I like. I like the new radio stuff. I like techno, and a lot of new songs sound techno-ish. A lot of people might think it sounds horrible. They can do without the vocal correction but besides that I think they're really catchy.

We all have a different opinion on music, and it depends on what you grew up listening to and your own personality and musical tastes.

Most country music pisses me off. I mean why do they all have to sound like fucking rednecks? And some of them just sing. And it isn't even singing in my mind. i kinda subscribe to the leser bangs school of approaching music. if it's fire, it's good to me. no matter the genre. but every genre has probably more shit than good stuff. most of the time, if i hate something, it's either because i used to listen to it and i grew out of it or an annoying friend in my past was into it. i hate falloutboy. they're one of the worst bands of all time. ok, i hate emo. that's a genre i hate. everybody says they hate country but good country is good country.
