Also, I would not try to dominate the cat, that only works with dogs, usually not cats. Cats and dogs have very different social behaviors and preferences. Trying to dominate will mostly make the cat more angry or scared.

@cheroxx I used to have a calico who hated everybody, even me. The only way I found to fix this was when i was sitting on the couch next to her, and she ever went to attack me, I would just put rest my hand on her back and hold her there so she couldnt lunge. She hated it, but after a couple times she just learned to not be on the couch at the same time as me. Eventually she turned nice and even sleeps on my lap now. Sometimes a little forcefulness just lets the cat know who is boss.

Hi, have you tried bribing the cat with Tuna or other fish? Do not try to pet the cat while it is eating. Just take some fish or raw meat with you when you are in the room with Sashimi, throw the fish by his side, and pretend like nothing. Give it time to eat. When the cat is finished eating, give it another treat. Try this a few times and see if it works. Some cats just don't like the smell of men, since we appear dominating to them.
