  • This guy needs to learn how to do a video, I've seen all of the ones he's done for maker shed & he's the worst, hands down.

  • thats stupid1111

  • i understand how it is a static electric motor but because you dont really see it, it just looks like you spinning it around with the handle :D

  • does someone know how to build the spark generator without buying this kit? i need it =) and is it possible to build the spark generator with a battery and not with a motor or generator or what it is? xD

  • @kinsi55 Go on google and search homemade vandegraph generator. I built one using stuff out of a hardwarestore for only 5 bucks

  • thanks

  • what did the last one do? the first sparked, the second didnt do anything?

  • static electricity turned the wheel on top, "static electric motor"

  • This video is a demonstration on the kit to show people what a possible science project could be. --> sidebar >_>

  • You think we are all geniuses?

Why not explain what you're doing?

  • i dun understand the 2nd part at all

  • wtf?

  • ok... that taught me nothing. what was the point of uploading that? Did you think people wanted to see that?

  • looks nice :D but i think i'll stick to my homemade battery powered one

  • 2 fast no info 2nd one sucked

    waste of time

  • why even bother to upload that video?

  • i agree

  • okay.... Worst video ever so far for MakeMagazine

  • @djvinnie112 agree

  • second worst. the worst was powering a tv with a AA battery :/

  • that was a household hacker video.

still, whats the point of a motor that doesn't spin on its own?

  • @djvinnie112 Yeah, seriously.

  • the static was maken the thing spin in the middle. wow

  • ok lets give it a try whirl whirl whirl ....End

  • i lol at your comment.

  • was something sappose to happen durring the second one

  • it did it is just static electricity the stuff that makes ur hair stand up and your socks stick together when u get them out of the dryer

  • my 5 year old says its crap

  • jajajaj

  • HOLY COW!

  • WHAT THE FLIP

  • i like the idea of a quick video, but more explanation would be good

  • wtf was that? I need my 45seconds back NOW!

  • me too

  • Either put some effort into it or don't do it at all. Don't ruin your reputation.

  • I'm with everyone else. I understand that maybe the first one isn't THAT exciting, but I couldn't really even understand what was supposed to happen with the second one.

  • this guy is fine with me.. as long is there is kip kay a nd no fucking crafting people.. i find these interesting when there actualyl a video.

  • what just happened lol, too short, needed some more explanation

  • 45 second video?! Whoa, buddy! Don't overexert yourself like this next time, okay?

  • No explanation ... not happy

  • Why not make it longer? I bairly saw what was going on but i know i would have liked to see more. Espeshaly the little spinning one. Looked cool.

  • what the heck something i finally like and it's short :(

  • That was way to fast for its own good....

  • junk, to short

  • i just forgot y im subscribed

  • If you are in such a hurry, do it some other time... Geeee... That was... Well... Something.

  • oau, that was fabulous. what was that again?

  • Come on put a bit of effort in, insted of just buying a kit why not make the spark thing out of a lighter and old parts and the motor out of old parts?

  • because this channel is advertising for makershed's website, it's main goal is not a tutorial site, but they put them up now and then so they have something to give to subscribers. most of the time the kits they show give enough of the general idea that you can do it on your one with 2 mins on google.

  • That was so exiting

  • whats the last one do?

  • that was retarded, it's called "make" not "get a kit and follow instructions"

  • It's the same as getting pancake mix and saying you've made pancakes. You did actually make the pancakes, but you weren't being hardcore about it.

  • yeah but i wanna see videos about shit that people make from household stuff, not some twink put together something from a kit

  • ...all it is that ur makin is a little spark and a spinning thing...

  • laim

  • would be great if all CRAFT Videos be 45 sec long

  • :'(

  • no one gives a poop if its 45 seconds, we want quality...

  • it looks incomplete; is there a 45 seconds limit for these episodes?

  • totaly useless :(

  • i dont know why he even bothered uploading this vid. if your not gonna put any effort into Make then let someone who acually cares do the job. FIRED

  • nice!

maybe only for those who know what you've built...

  • That's horrible!

  • Booooorrrrrrriiiinnnngggggg!

  • thats a wimhurts..

  • sweeeet

  • I think the motor is a little stupid, I mean he's already turning something to generate energy to turn the motor.

  • Yh it is stupid but hey! Thats how they make money.

  • wtf? 45 seconds!! i don't have all day man, next time, do that same things but in times 8x as opposed 4x speed. And cut out the part showing what it does, I can always read the asian instructions can't I. LoL, just kidding, those look boring to me anyways.

  • This would be awesome if you took more than 45 seconds on it

  • i hate u

  • ok....

  • I think I will watch this frame by frame.. maybe I will understand what are you doing and why the second experiment does nothing :D

  • agreed :D

  • It does!

    It drives a static-electricity motor!

  • I'm sure it does: but in this video did you saw how actually works?

Yes maybe it charges and works after, but this should be a "how to make" and my comment was more for: how do I do that?

  • I'LL BUY 10!

  • I don't care... I have more than 45 seconds.... Speed it up A LITTLE...

  • Looks nothing like on the package whatever you showed, it's a fraud! :D

Nah, I belive pretty cool, can wake up people to! :D Still don't get that wheel spinning thing though... engine?

  • -_-''

    Okeeeeej.....

  • the second one did nothing o.o

  • the wheel that was spinning was being powered by static electricity from the two metals beside it, i think :P

  • nice... whatever it does. sort of.

  • i forgot to mention this is still a cool device.

  • would have been getting better ratings if the video was more, well, just more.

  • sub-interesting.

  • what the hell was that???

  • *The Endo period

  • I love the Gakken kits! But I'll have to admit, I probably had to be there to appreciate this.

  • nothing against the poster, good video, just... well you saw at 0:35

    ?

  • Failblog

  • the dpark is cool but the motor is pointless who whants a motor that you have to crank a handle to use

  • wtf

  • Yeah I uhh must have missed the point of the second experiment.

  • i would lol

  • i cant tell whats going on, needs to be longer

  • Terrible video.

    1 star

  • cool project....shitty video.

  • what is the point in showing us so fast

  • so...... ??

  • why cant you make a 2 or 3 minutes video?

  • Why $40

  • I liked it, the second one was actually pretty cool.

  • what does this teach us?

  • it taught us that the japanese can create a portable easy to make electricity box and none of us can't....

  • none of use can't? i think you meant to say none of us can, or all of us can't... lol sorry, i had to say it :D

  • wow... i could easily do that without buying a kit

  • Do it and post a video ;)

  • Next up... shooting a paper wad across the room with a rubber band. 0_o

  • Why do you say that? Hmm lop-sided face man?

  • HahHah lol. Your comment was better than this video. XD

  • the second one i think turns the wheel by using static electricity powered by the hand motor

  • Oooooo, entertaining.

  • i dont see it at all

  • I GOT BURND !!! :(

  • what does the second one do?

i saw the sparks on the first one but i dont get what's going on in the second

  • It's a motor.

  • the second one is static electricity if u tuch it u get shocked

  • i kno that but i dont see the point on the demonstration...

all they showed was the spinning wheel

  • The wheel was being moved by an electric motor.

  • actually, it was hand cranked

  • No shit by power.

  • ???

    the hand cranked the wheel

    no electricity or motor

  • Okay Hes cracking the generator which is creating power to turn the wheel which is a Static electric motor.

  • lol i can do that by sticking my finger in a light bulb socket

  • ahahahaha

  • wtf no sparks :p

  • i saw a few sparks

  • I don't get it, what does it do?

I saw the TINY spark on the first model, but the second model looked like it did nothing.

    LAME

  • damn u beat me

  • great

  • Interesting
