This was my favorite game coin up, when I have twelve years old, I found in the emulator "mame", with te rom Ikari Warriors, it's perfect with the arcade orginale, back in time for me! fantastic!!!!!
I use to bunk of school to play this at da arcades 50 pence a go some one put it xbox live u make a mint a bit like bit map brosthers on amiga 1200 best home pc every off to watch this all night raymond
@Fate0fTheArt Either that or he has completely mastered the game and knows where every single enemy will appear and how to defeat each boss efficiently.
@Chapapaaaa SNK actually acquired the rights from Nazca, who were former Irem staff (if you can see the references in the Slug series to their older games like In The hunt and Gunforce II).
This is Clark's first game. However, Ralf actually first appeared in TNK III, a very little known arcade game that was remade into Iron Tank for the NES. Very similar to Ikari Warriiors, except you're always in the tank. Ikari Warriors is it's successor.
One reason why this game was successful is that the arcade version uses rotating joysticks, which is something other arcade games didn't have during 1986. Koji Akibayashi of Data East later created his first game, Heavy Barrel, which was heavily inspired by SNK's Ikari Warriors.
It never fails to amaze me that looking back on these games they seemed like they took so long to beat. Compared to the games now I could take a piss and it would be beaten by the time I got back.
Inequality of the baddest arcade game ever. At least 100 dollars of coins in this game

@Fate0fTheArt Then again I could be wrong and it's a tool-assisted play of the game.

Flowmasta 3 years ago 8
Yes. They were renamed for the American release.
This is Clark's first game. However, Ralf actually first appeared in TNK III, a very little known arcade game that was remade into Iron Tank for the NES. Very similar to Ikari Warriiors, except you're always in the tank. Ikari Warriors is it's successor.
I loved this game as a kid.
