All of the things you mention in your posts below are true. I knew both of them and I knew Veronica (performing what became a signature number in the video aove) when she had her surgery via the film documentary filmed by actress Lee Grant. I found this video by accident tonight and I am speechless. Veronica and I were close friends in the late 70's and early 80's - also roommates. Both of the subjects of the film have since passed away. Renee first and Veronica sometime in the late 90's.

If they both are dead what a shame. What about veronica's or cathy's mother that was in the documentary? How is she today?

@rosbergs3 "What Sex Am I?" was the first TS documentary I saw when it aired on HBO's 'America Undercover." A therapist I had at the time in Galveston said she didn't believe the film would be broadcast at all because the filmmaker's were "looking for a scandal' and the project shelved. But some TS-chaser who claimed he personally knew "Kathy" said Lee Grant paid for her surgery. Who really knows but the people involved, I suppose.

Whatever happened to this lady? I know she was in the HBO show "what sex am i" but what has been going on with her since? I heard she and her roommate renee williams died. Is that true? How and when did they die?
