I've watched and listened other singers perform this song in various styles and physical modes to bring out their voices and give more punch to the melody. How he starts to sing so effortlessly with his torso bent (more so than usual) in the seated position just floors me. I don't see many performers strongly vocalize that way. Clay and Quiana ROCK!

Clay is so versatile and talented,and it shows his generous nature to showcase these singers on his show,and not focus all the attention on himself. I have tried to pinpoint what it is about Clay that we all are attracted to ,besides of course his wonderful voice and good looks,and I truly believe it is his Christian spirit that we see. I was at Sterling Heights and this was an absolutely amazing performance. Can't believe they had never sung this together before. Voice blend beautifully. Clay is the best male vocalist to came from AI, not doubt about it. On the stage he is spectacular. A recorded duet would be fantastic with Quiana.

I agree! I think Clay made American Idol what it is today! But they will never find another Clay Aiken on that show! I think its amazing that they never song this song and then song it and nailed it! Is THAT powerful voice really coming out of a "skinny white kid"???? LOL....I just remember the judges from AI2 being amazed when he sang at the tryouts. I had heard that Angela's solo in this tour was the best solo she's ever done on one of Clay's tours, and I was really looking forward to it. But this one-time-only duet between Clay and Quiana when Angie was unable to perform it was absolutely amazing! I got goosebumps about 4 times during it. If you think it's good here, you should have witnessed it live -- unreal! And soooo deserving of the standing O it got.
